    A longtime Venus user, I came across this ā€œComfortā€ line and decided to give it a try. I thought it was nice at firstā€¦ until I realized the gel bar dissolves completely over the course of the first few uses, leaving the razor extremely uncomfortable to use within 1-2 weeks. Iā€™ve never nicked myself from shaving more than I have since switching to the ā€œComfortā€ line. I just learned while re-reading reviews that this razor only has 3 blades, as opposed to 5 blades on the original Venus line... Iā€™ll be switching back as soon as Iā€™ve used up the last few razors (which wonā€™t be long, considering how quickly they become useless)

    Iā€™m not sure what Iā€™m doing wrong, but I know the gel is coming off and it smooths my skin, but I have tried the same razor three times and still have hair on my legs. Iā€™m 58 and have been shaving my legs for a long time but not sure if this is the definition of insanity since I canā€™t seem to get it to work. Very frustrating.

      I have been using Venus for as long as Iā€™ve been shaving. Never have I ever cut myself while shaving with these razors my legs are mutilated and itā€™s happened more than ones not just the first shave.

      If you are still using the Intuition soap razor like the 90s girl I know you still are, itā€™s time to make the switch. I got so sick of replacing those repeatedly every time I start to smell mold. These are a much better style with no where for water and mold to collect that can be sanitized and will last much longer. Not to mention, the Venus will give you a much closer shave, and the product is closer to a shave gel than a soap. I will start stocking up on refills for this razor with my Amazon Prime subscription. I canā€™t stop asking myself how I was shaving with soap for 15 years.

      Not a close smooth shave. The pink gel glides or whatever those things that they attach to the blade is too thick. Marketing hype, I donā€™t see the use of the thick gel things, they prevent close shave. And that ā€œmoisturizerā€ gel strip is extra slimy. If you want smooth to the touch and to the eye skin, go with something else. I should have just made time to go the store and pick up some razors myself.
