A lot of traffic sound, as the windows area old, and you can hear a lot of activity from other guests. The door to the hall doesn't close tight, so you get the pleasure of that too. The shower had a loose cap on the drain that I nearly tripped on, the tub was broken. The guy who greeted us seemed rude and like he didn't care. When we left a very nice woman checked us out. Other than that the room was clean and the bed was soft, but to me the price didn't match what I got.
Hotel well situated to major roads near Moers, what shocks me is some reviews here, how on earth can you say a hotel is excellent cos there is a park close by to walk your dog!!! check in very poor arrogance beyond belief, rooms very hot and stuffy, NO AIR CON, WIFI in rooms in not that good fades in and out, so no good to work from and if you open windows road noise is substantial as is noise from neighbouring rooms, Check out very poor took 15 minutes to find a staff member, never no management available, according to check out staff this is always like this, the hotel is run on a shoestring and skeleton staff, his words not mine!! which says it all really. would I return NEVER
The hotel is situated near a big park and is ideal for guests with a dog. After a walk in the park you can visit the quiet town that has some carfree walking Streets. In the hotel you can enjoy a drink in the bar or on the terras. You can also enjoy a nice meal or chose for a buffet in the restaurant. We will shurely come again.
we spend 2 nights here and after previous excellent experience it was very mixed this time. After a confirmation call a day in advance we arrived at 13:55 and where greeted with 'you are too early, your room is not ready' ..... without even saying 'welcome' or asking for the name. After a short check we where told at least 30 minutes..... after 45 minutes we decided to leave our luggage at the reception and went into town for a coffee. Back at 17:00 - more than 3h later guys what..... Your rooms are not ready...at least 30 minutes....... A very unpleasant welcome's and checkin experience. After a bit of discussion we got other rooms, not exactly what we have reserved but we needed a rest now. The room was spicy, a nice nespresso coffee machine, a nice bathroom with a very smallâŚ
We booked 28 rooms for the Semino Rossi concert in Duisburg and every one was very satisfied over the accomodation of the hotel. The rooms, breakfast, dinner, friendly staff....super!! Price/ quality is it OK.
We've been here many times over the past 20+years. It's always clean and friendly. Ample parking spaces and an amazing breakfast lay-out. Prices are moderate. Rooms spacious and clean ( with a complimentary bottle of water). Staff are generally friendly and helpful.
