Loved the info covered. I even learned more about my first name--my father was an astronomer who named me. As he died when I was an infant, no opportunity to question him.

  • Astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson explains the universe

Atuhor and astrophysist Neil DeGrasse Tyson brings us a run down of life the universe and everything. Not to be confused with the Dogluas Adams book which has that title but Tyson takes us on a voyage through time and space. As he dose this he explains that humaity has been on Earth for a short time and that in the last one hundred years we've been able to find exoplanets what could conatain life. He also explains that our notion of time and how we view it is just as simple as a point of view through a view finder. Yes this book is short and very informatiave but it gets to the heart of things. Say you're watching the Big Bang Theory and Sheldon says something scientific, this book is the best refrence point to that. I highly recommned this book to everyone. The last chapter is very humbling.

The book is fine, but it is simply a regurgitation of the 10 year older Death by Black Hole... the SAME wording!!
