This book is much needed. Straight away, it began to lift the fear and negativity that I knew I was starting to feel about the menopause but was struggling to combat. It is a refreshing and common sense read, littered with hypnotic suggestion and exercises to help you feel empowered, excited and liberated going into this phase of your life. And who wouldn't want that?

Having read many books on the subject of Menopause to educate myself on this transition it was so welcome to read a book that focuses on the positive side of Menopause rather than the symptoms. The simple tools and advice that Sophie writes about (from the heart) have helped me to re-frame and see this tricky transition from a completely different point of view. Life changing. This is my bible for menopause. I’ve never really managed mindfulness in the past but this book makes it easy. It’s practical and simple tools have helped me to fit being mindful in to my life. I love the mind body connection, something that other books don’t focus on. It’s really helped me feel positive about my menopause and the meditation tracks are a wonderful bonus. Thank you for sharing your deep knowledge and understanding. I just wish I’d had this book in my 40s. A must for anyone looking for a sanctuary before, during and after menopause

I was given the author’s first book for my last (very geriatric) pregnancy and found it full of practical advice and easy to do exercises. Have bought this one in preparation for the next stage. One of the things I enjoyed about the first book was the relaxation tracks (had them playing throughout my labour). She has a wonderfully soothing neutral tone of voice. Also like the fact that it’s not another celebrity showcase, but rather written by an author who seems to have a good understanding of the female body and who provides advice to get us through without making a song and dance about the whole thing!

What a revelation we are not going mad after all! All women should read this to prepare them. Beautifully written by an inspiring and talented author. Thank you Sophie for you insights to a tricky but beautiful time!
