The Kodgem Straight Posture Corrector Trainer is a device that uses gentle vibrations to remind users to sit up straight, strengthening their back and core muscles over time. It comes with an accompanying Straight App that allows users to track progress and adjust the device remotely. While some users found it finicky and difficult to use, others found it effective in correcting poor posture, reducing pain, and increasing self-awareness.

The idea behind this is brilliant. It trains you to sit up straight, and the app tracks your progress. The app seemed to connect fairly easily to the device, but once I was using it I was a little confused about what it was measuring. It buzzed several times when I slouched, but somehow I have a 100% score?
As with most devices this is something you have to make an effort to use. I’m at that age where my posture has been bad for years. I’m 6’4” and have slouched most of my life. It’s not easy to change your way of standing or sitting. This device does do what it says but it’s very finicky when you don’t do it right. For the first week I was setting it off constantly and it was annoying. It almost wanted me to stop using it. The second week it got better and I’m hoping to see it get better from now on.
I still find myself reverting to my old ways of bad posture, but I’m hoping it gets better with time.
I have quite a few issues with this thing. it really isn't necessary to have an app on your phone. It could just as easily simply buzz when you slouch. Almost no real instructions, you have to figure it out yourself. I also found the vibration to be so mild that I didn't always notice it. That could just be me and lack of sensitivity on my back. The device does indicate when you slouch, it's just not for me.
The posture corrector is something that I can always use in my day to day life. I have tendency to lose my posture and slouch, so much so that I have a poor gait. So I have noticed that this device reminds me right away when I slouch.
Another hi tech feature is it's connectibility with an app on the phone, in order to measure progress. Of course I would make progress of this thing would continuously remind me by buzzing on my back. Good product.
I could never get it to actually stick to my back. I tried washing the spot between my shoulders and drying it really well. I tried a different sticky pad, but no matter what I did, it still wouldn't stick. It does vibrate when you hold it, so I guess that function works.
I recently received the Kodgem Straight Posture Corrector Trainer for Women & Men and was excited to try it out. The product arrived in a nice box with a charger, which was a nice touch. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration once I tried to wear it.
Although the product looked easy to use, I found the directions to be insufficient and was unable to determine if I was wearing it correctly or not. There were also exercises included, but the directions for them were equally insufficient. I tried to follow them, but wasn't sure if I was doing them correctly, which was a big letdown.
Unfortunately, I found the Kodgem Straight Posture Corrector Trainer to be less user-friendly than I expected. Within an hour of wearing it, I gave up and took it off. It's disappointing because I was hoping for more support in my posture training, but the lack of guidance made it difficult for me to use the product effectively.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend the Kodgem Straight Posture Corrector Trainer unless the company improves the instructions and provides more user-friendly guidance.
