  • Nurse here: I think more patients could use this!

    I personally love this product as someone that hates the taste of 95% of protein drinks. I put it in my coffee (while piping hot) and stir. I can’t really taste it unless I mix it when it’s too cool and get a few clumps.

    I am a nurse that works with a lot of elderly patients. Most of my patients HATE ensure or other premade protein drinks but they LOVE their coffee or hot tea in the morning to start their day. I think this would be a great way to “sneak” some protein without pushing them to drink the shake they don’t care for. Always consult with a physician first, as this is not a substitute for medical advice and Vitals Protein may not include all of the vitamins and minerals included in the other protein beverages. Just an idea!

      Well, online doesn't give ingredients so I assumed it was like the chocolate one. Simple ingredients, mostly collagen. But without an ingredient list, how was I supposed to know it has oats in it, which I can't have. Will be returning. Wish it had ingredients listed

      This is labeled as unflavored. While that may be true, meaning it has no "added" flavorings, don't think for one second this has no taste. It tastes terrible. Just like every other collagen I've tried.

      Pros: This does mix in real well in cold and hot drinks. It does not change the taste or texture of my drinks.
      Cons: see pictures. There is no scoop provided. It says see directions for amount that should be used. There is lots of space on the label, why are the directions written so small. Move the directions so a magnifying glass is not needed to read them. Lol
