  • Really lovely but can your pocket manage

    It’s a really good camera beats the Fuji mini Polaroid camera (I don’t know the model but my friend has one and we compared and the Polaroid is better) because it has a self timer and flash. It came quickly but the only issue is that the film is expensive but it shouldn’t be a shock if research is done before purchasing.
    The whole wait for the picture to develop in darkness is annoying and you can’t take indoor pictures without a lot of light

    Product was ok. Minor scratches on the bottom an i didn't get "the bundle" i was promised a empty photo case(no pictures) and just the body. I knew it didn't come with a charger. Didn't know it didn't come with photos or i would have gotten the cheaper one. (Basically what they gave me) (not what i payed for)

  • Polaroid- what the heck happened?!

    I have a box of beautiful polaroids from the mid 1990s that are still vibrant, rich and crisp. I purchased a Polaroid Now camera for Christmas ‘22 for my daughter and the difference is night and day —literally— because the new Polaroid photos look like I took them in a dark tunnel while traveling at the speed of light. The new pix like the sad ghosts of Polaroid past- grainy, anemic, and unfocused. The picture quality was so bad I thought the camera was faulty and returned it and the second one was just as horrible.

    I uploaded new and old pictures to show the drastic difference. The pictures on the left are 30 yrs old and the pix on the right are a month old. How could quality have gotten so much worse in 30 years?! It’s mind blowing. I also have Polaroids from 1970 that are better than the 2023s though not nearly as good as that 90’s camera that I wish I still had. Sigh.

    My review is if you never had a Polaroid and don’t remember that they used to be like real photos and if you like blurry shades of grey —you may be ok with this.
