  • Great snapshot of taco flavors

    This was our first meal arriving in Austin. I went with the recommendations the cashier made and ordered: Trailer Park, Baja Shrimp, Mr. Orange, Democrat. They were all very good and full of flavor. We also got a side of street corn.

  • Annual visit to Torchys

    Every time we come to Austin we have to make a trip here. We had several tacos to share and the queso and chips. The tipsy chicken was our favorite out of all the tacos . See you next year.

    This was a great spot for our family. Quick service with tons of choices. I loved the queso so much! Reasonable priced. I had a fried chicken and jerk chicken taco. Yum!

  • Best tacos in Texas hands down

    I've heard so many great things about torchys that i had to check it out. It exceeded my expectations and provided the best meal and the best price i found fitting the whole trip. Definitely going they bring one to detroit soon!

    Quick and cheap! I love the food and atmosphere here. This is a good spot to eat at especially if you have plans to day drink or start a long day!

    We enjoyed the tasty tacos, fried beans, and rice. The food and service were very good and the prices reasonable. It was so good that I went back for seconds.

  • Great lunch

    Easy to find. Small parking lot behind building. Parking also on the street. Get in line, order your food, they give you a number that you put on the metal disc on the table. Chips and queso very good. Some heat but not too bad....More

    The food was super good, couldn’t have been happier. Quick service also. I was pleasantly surprised.
    I thought I was just getting a quick taco but I’ll totally come back again!
