Was in #nyc for 2 weeks, visit a few locations, overall there is a issue with cleaning these places, focus is on quick check out and coffee pick up, clearly no staff member checks the area, paper, straws, caps it,s gross
Visit a few locations...and all similar, visit a few DD and did not see it there so clearly training, managing and keep the eyes open
For me Starbucks, the star is gone, there are so much more options with better coffee, more service and better pricing, i am out you lost a customerMore and all similar, visit a few DD and did not see it there so clearly training, managing and keep the eyes open

Staff have little patience for you if you're unsure about what you want to order. Quite expensive and restrooms not the cleanest
Starbucks has gone down hill in recent years with many of the facilities feeling jaded, old and tired. Toilets in New York are all terrible.
Lovely coffee and cake. It is a great location to relax and watch life go by. Outside seating in Times Square. Home from Home
It was scheduled to open three days AFTER we checked out, despite being advertised as open, on the hotel website.
We were in the area and needed a break so we bought 2 coffees here. Very fast service, in and out, and we took our cups with us.
We frequent Starbucks when in the continental US. They were super Busy each time we went in for our coffees, but each time the service was perfect and quick.
I wanted a latte to warm up from the cold weather outside before we went to see a show. I also grabbed a sandwich which hit the spot. No place to sit down.
My wife and I are used to a certain standard at Starbucks where the food is excellent, they have what is on display in stock, and the friendly and attentive customer service.
We went into this location (located in the Marriott Marquis Times Square) and...were served by a lady who was very abrupt, made no eye contact, and it just felt cold like we were a hinderance. We asked for Gouda Bacon Egg sandwich and a Sausage Egg sandwich. She said (without looking) that they didn't have sausage but they did have the gouda. Then she looked at her tray of inventory somewhat quickly and haphazardly, barely looking at all and said they had Sausage but did not have Gouda.
My wife's hot chocolate seemed a bit below par and the sandwiches didn't seem as fresh as usual either.
The most bothersome thing though was the cold customer service. No one was unfriendly but our server was definitely not friendly either. No smiling face, no warm tone to her voice, and an "I hate to be here' attitude.
These problems are easily corrected to get it more in line with the Starbuck's experience that we are more accustomed to.More were served by a lady who was very abrupt, made no eye contact, and it just felt cold like we were a hinderance. If my memory serves me correctly this Starbucks was inside of the hotel. We had coffee quite a few times here. The service was good. The coffee strong as usual. My friends had the Frappes a few times. That's about it.
Great service, friendly staff, that stayed calm under the pressure of a half a conference guest walking in at the same time...!
Found it very difficult to get in, and it took forever to get served - so I had to avoid this place on future visits
Great place to grab a coffee for a quick warm up while sightseeing in cool weather.
Staff was great. Coffee was good.
When it comes to brewed (dripped) coffee, Starbucks is my first choice. It is cheaper that other restaurants, and hard to better quality coffee.
We waited in line for coffee and bagels which were priced higher than Atlanta. But this is New York so expect to pay. A cheaper alternative are the street vendors.
I visited this Starbucks inside the hotel yesterday. The line as I expected was very long. When I reached the attendant she didn’t thank me for waiting. She took my order of 2 coffees and an order of egg bites. One lady was taking the orders...More
Not a big fan of coffee, however, the peach white iced tea sweetened was really good, so much so that I had more than one during my 6 day trip. The problem with Starbucks is that there is rarely any place to sit.
starbucks the world over are nice...this one being in an iconic location is even better...cuppa cinno !!!
You know hwat you are getting when you walk in the door and you will not be disapppointed. Staff was very effecient.
big line up but these guys dont waste time. Orders were filled, coffees were hot and one of the best starbucks there is!
First drink I got there was great... next time I get one, it was not good. We had already left the city when I took my first drink so I couldn't take it back.
Visited here every morning during our visit to New York City, staff work their butts off and are always friendly, this is a very busy starbucks but they manage ok
This Starbucks is located on the entry level of the Marriot Marques Times Square, and as such accessible both for hotel guests and non hotel guests. Service is very quick, even at times when there are many conference delegates. Good Starbucks in an excellent spot.
Entering Starbucks at the Broadway, New York City, apart from the accents of the staff, we could have been entering Starbucks anywhere in the UK. The coffee I was expecting to be tasty, but the basic Americano was bland. This was a total suprise.
We frequented there almost every day! We found out if we were sitting, relaxing in Times Square, we could take our cup back in for a lesser priced refill. The staff was precious and we got to know them during our five day stay!!
Located in same area as Marriott hotel so very convienient. Service was good and they got drinks correct.
This Starbucks was nearest to our hotel and i think i used it every night! Staff were laid back and fun here but not making you wait too long laid back, good vibe in this one with drinks being made to order perfectly
...
We were going for a musical nearby, so we dropped by here to have quick bite. We bought some beverages, sandwiches and pastries.
Even though the place was packed, the service was very fast and efficient.
You can get a deal in NYC! Typical Starbucks, busy but have the staff to keep things moving. Can't believe you can actually get 15% off your entire order by showing your theater ticket! Was a nice bonus.
