Sceptre 20" LED Monitor Review

Purchased the "wide viewing angle" model to display a slideshow in a hallway; it looks fine straight on or from a distance, but the claim that this screen features a wide viewing angle is simply false. Very dissatisfied, likely returning.

I got this for security cameras and because the description says 2 hdmi ports…. However after receiving it really only has 1 …. Very disappointed!

Very disappointed in this monitor. I only needed a 2nd monitor for work and even for work the picture quality is super poor and the colors are so far off. Tried adjusting but just not able to get the "type" or "print" very crisp or clear. Would not recommend.

Came with a streak down the middle of the screen.
I can’t afford to wait for a whole new monitor and exchanging this right now so I will have to deal with this until I can upgrade to a different monitor. But screen is good size and clear. Easy set up

Clear picture, turns on immediately and is clear and bright. I wanted an inexpensive monitor, and I don't think you can beat it for the cost.

It’s a nice size if your not looking for something huge just something kind of small to use. Good quality as well has a very nice feel and display. I use it for my work and even gaming sometimes and it holds up well. Easy to set up all you have to do is attach the stand. The menu is really nice and has a lot of options to adjust the coloring and the look so it’s flexible for your needs. The speakers have a pretty good sound nothing too fancy but not bad. I was glad to see this monitor actually had speakers because for some reason I couldn’t find many that you didn’t have to buy speakers for. All in all I believe it’s worth the price, especially if it’s for your kid I think it’s definitely enjoyable.

This screen saved my bacon! I cracked the screen of my laptop right before I was ready to file my taxes.

Sure, there are several solutions for this, but time was of the essence. I did a little research and found that this screen would work with my now cracked Lenovo laptop. I ordered it at a great price, it arrived fast. I plugged it into my laptop and ... had my taxes filed within minutes.

Plus, I can still use the screen with my new Lenovo laptop for watching movies, working on spreadsheets, etc. Sorry. I'm not a gamer, but that's okay. I'm sure it would be good for games, too.

It's a good size for my small desk, too. I didn't want an external monitor that took over the workspace of my desk. This is perfect!

This is a very nice monitor for gaming, working or school work, it is very versatile. It has very sharp clear images and the colors are vibrant.

It’s the one pictured on the left. Super easy to set up and pretty straightforward. Pretty affordable extra monitor in the picture quality looks really good on it. Not my computer so that’s why I don’t actually have any visuals on it.

Was looking for something cheap for my security system. This is a perfect purchase. Super cheap and good quality. Paid only $80ish. Can’t find that type of deal anywhere!

This thing is great for the price.
Feels durable, functions great, and have many options.

Ive had this monitor for over 4 years and its still running strong no issues. Its worked so well for me that when i bought my new 1440p main monitor, i went with sceptre again.

Now, I wouldn't use this for a primary monitor as its not even 1080p, but for a secondary monitor for things like discord, spotify, podcasts, movies, etc. Its good enough.

This monitor I would say works as a placeholder for when you want to get something better than it, it’s good but it’s not a forever type of thing

This monitor came and was easy to set up. I had to use my existing cable for an older computer. I wanted to upgrade my old monitor but was limited to 19.5 inches of space. This monitor fits into that space nicely and gives me more screen room to have more windows visible.

Bought this to attach to a server because of its low price. Works great, has a vesa mount on the back, included cords. Visual quality looks good.

Wouldnt use this as a primary gaming monitor, the max resolution is a bit low. But on lower graphics computer like a server, it works great.

Good value, light weight, clear video. Though I wish the monitor stand was a bit taller.
