The flies have actually started to vacation in our kitchen after I put this product up in the kitchen. They do seem to slow down and then they fly around very annoyingly. The flies that actually stuck on the back of the plate after all this time were maybe 5-6! I took it off and not planning to use this again.
If youāre like me and have 3 kids that donāt close the door in the summer no matter how many times you tell them, this product is for you!! This was delivered yesterday and I couldnāt wait to see how well it worked. I took this picture about 15 hours after first plugging it in. Iām so happy with this product and want to get more!
Lures gnats, fruit flies, & mosquitoes.
Plugged it in the first day for house flies. Never caught one! Finally cancelled my order for refills and returned the actual product.
It works great for fruit flies. And once in a while it catches a house fly.
I've tried everything and this still hasn't caught one bug.
I don't think we have a lot of bugs; a few fruit flies and mosquitoes, the occasional larger fly, but I decided to try one of these in the kitchen and one in the garage. Clearly they work from they one week photo, and we had a lot more bugs than I thought.
It took a few days for them to all go to the light, but they did nonetheless.
Indoors. I like the light it puts out.
Bought this to catch actual flies, but only caught a few tiny Nats. Not worth the money.
Was not that effective for indoor fruit fly problem
I was hopeful and excited to try this plug-in pest attractor. 3 nights in a row in 3 different locations around my houseplants that had fruit flies? Or here in Alaska no-see-ums. Not one fly was stuck on in the morning. It was plugged in within 2 feet of a large plant that Iād seen a few flies around. That was plugged into the side wall outlet on my kitchen island. Not 1!!
Another night I plugged it into a kitchen wall outlet. Iād cut up a cantaloupe late afternoon and a bowl with juice in the bottom was attracting pesky flys. I thought I had them! Iād leave the bowl out all night within a foot or so of the light and get them all! Right??! Wrong. In the morning there were 8-9 fruit flies on the bowl. Ugh! They flew off into the room when I moved the bowl š š”. Still I was expecting the sticky surface to have twice as many. There were none. Zip. Nada. USELESS! WASTE!! There were however 2 of my cats long black hairs stuck on it. Which he and I will have to talk about.
Safer Home SH502 Indoor Plug-In Fly Trap for Flies, Fruit Flies, Moths, Gnats, and Other Flying Insects is the best buy That I have made in ages. I currently have two (one in the living room and one in the kitchen). It totally grosses me out when I change the adhesive to think before getting them with us being totally unaware of how many gnats and things were flying around. It's shocking! So glad my son-in-law told me about them.
Catches flies & all other flying insects
Didnāt work well for me. Left it on for 3 days and not ONE fly got in. Tried changing spots and nothing. We have fruit flys that infested some old oranges and have to find another to get them. Waste of money for us.
Have problems with knots in my kitchen. Plug this in at night & by morning the sticky tape is about full.
I bought one of these for our camper after getting infested with fruit flies. We are in Florida, so a fairly new breed of roach called Asian roaches is also a problem down here. They look like German roaches, but they are super fast and fly, but don't infest (thank goodness). However, they are attracted to light, so if you are camping anywhere there is leaf litter or woods with organic matter on the ground, you may attract some of these at night and this is a lifesaver!
I bought this and plugged it in a week ago. All of the fruit flies are gone and it has caught two Asian roaches who wandered in since the light on it attracts them after we turn our lights off for the night. I would recommend these to anyone who had any problems with fruit flies. It also seems to have attracted a couple of mosquitos (maybe the light?). Overall I am very happy and would highly recommend this product. Would be a great product for a commercial kitchen, too, where fruit flies are always a problem.
I put this right by my produce basket and it has eliminated flies! Love it.
Recently my family has combatting a gnat problem because of the house plants. I have this guy plugged in my room and it works really well. I've had it up for a week or 2 and I haven't noticed the pests in my room but I just checked the trap and it definitely works. It's gross to look at it but it works so can't complain. It comes with one refill of the sticky piece and I just bought more. The light is also not so bad to sleep with nearby.
I have a countertop compost bin, and even though it said it wouldnāt crest fruit flies. It inevitably did. This product remedied this problem so fast I honestly couldnāt believe how well it worked! And for less than $20! I didnāt even realize how bad the bugs were u til I started checking it once a week!
Highly highly recommend this product for anyone who needs a more modern and cleanly way to get rid of bugs!
I follow the instructions but this device didnāt trap one fruit fly. Save your money .
This "fly catcher" did not trap ONE fly. I left it plugged in 24 hours a day. The flies are driving me crazy. It did trap a couple of gnats.
I was looking for help with fly control inside our home. This product disappointed in a big way.
I have had this product nearly a month and has only caught two flies. It has caught some gnats and so tiny moths, but not really what I bought it for.
Very happy with the results. I use this in our kitchen and by the back door where weāve had an influx of bugs escaping the Texas heat. These catch gnats and flies immediately, the light is a nice feature that really attracts the bugs.
Primarily catches insects at night when no other lights are on
Not very fast but works good.
Somewhere we got some fruit flies in the house and they were driving us nuts. We tried the cider vinegar with dish soap trap, which worked, but just wasn't doing enough. I put two of these lighted w/adhesive traps in my kitchen and they are catching the little buggers like a charm. Very happy with these. We will run them for awhile and then save them for next time.
It works, and the blue light is cool
They work amazingly well and good value!

These crochet kits from Woobles are a mixed bag, with some customers finding them easy to follow and great for beginners, while others struggle with the instructions and quality of materials. The video instructions are praised by many, but some feel they lack the hand-holding necessary for true beginners. The kits come with all the necessary materials and the yarn quality is generally good. However, there are complaints about knots in the yarn and issues with customer support.
