  • Bleeds WAY too much

    I have a basic coloring book where the pages are pretty thick but these markers still bleed through.

    I’m glad I caught it in the beginning and was able to save the next page by putting paper b/t the sheets

    The color you get on paper is 3x darker than the color on the cap.

    You think you’re picking up a lime green marker but it’s really a light green

  • This is a wonderful book

    So many different things to color, not overly detailed, just a fun book with things from a simpler time. I find myself liking most all of the books by this artist, hope she keeps it up. Have fun coloring!!!

  • Creative Haven SIMPLE PLEASURES COLORING BOOK The Cottagecore Lifestyle by Jessica Mazurkiewicz 2022

     This was one of those coloring books that I was on the fence about. I debated between three and four stars but since I didn't actually dislike any of the images I decided to round up instead of down.

    My main issue with it however is that the lines are on the lighter side and very thin. The illustrations are often really busy as well and when you add all that into the mix it can be a bit frustrating for a perfectionist like myself.

    It's still a very nice book overall though with a total of (31) peaceful pictures featuring the homey and slow paced life of the English countryside. Each image is printed on white paper, moderately thick, one sided, and even perforated for easy removal... and it's printed in the USA =)
