Review of Nasal Wash Bottle

Valve leaks from the bottom. Product doesn't generate enough pressure to make water pour out through other nostril.

The sensation after using the nasal wash bottle was quite intense, to say the least. As the solution made its way through my nasal passages, it triggered an intense burning sensation that was anything but pleasant. This sensation was reminiscent of a fiery discomfort that persisted for some time. Moreover, I experienced a pronounced feeling of dizziness and even developed a headache that persisted throughout the day, almost akin to the effects of motion sickness.

Overall, my experience with the nasal wash bottle was quite challenging. The burning sensation, coupled with the subsequent dizziness and headache, left me feeling quite uneasy. It's safe to say that the aftereffects were not something I anticipated or welcomed.

Used for rhinitis

The packaging on the outside was dirty, and it looked quite old once opened. Can anyone tell me who might have used it before? There's still liquid inside the bottle, and the nozzle has a mucus-like substance that's really unpleasant. This could be a breeding ground for infectious diseases.

Did the job

Wasn’t sure what to expect. The nozzle is larger than anticipated but it does the job efficiently. Have been experiencing some of the benefits that other users have mentioned - fairly clear passages that seem to help anti-hayfever nasal sprays work better. The little button on the bottom is quite dinky. I suppose it gives you greater control than just squeezing the sides of the bottle. Very pleased with this and would recommend.

Use it everyday.. really good feeling once it’s finished.. little uncomfortable though..

Does what you expect it to do. The supplied water temp gauge doesn't really work but not necessary to use it correctly.

Not much to say really, it works as intended and there's lots of uses so very good value. Glad I can breathe normally again!

I am very happy with this product. I have used a neti pot for years, and up until I got this I used one shaped like a watering can with a measuring spoon and bought my own natural salt. This would regularly burn my nostrils and I rarely got the solution strength right. This product is great as it dispenses with that need. All you do is empty the sachet and wait for the boiled water to cool to the right temperature. The pump action is easy to use and bottle simple to wash in hot water. My sinuses and nose are much clearer since using it and I can breathe far more easily. As others have said, the temperature gauge isn't great, but that is a minor quibble. I just do the 'wrist test' as you would for a baby's bottle and that works well enough.

Works as expected

I was so unsure if to use this or not. I really struggle with sinus infections and was advised to try one of these. The set up can be a little tricky and time consuming as you need to wait for the water to cool down. The temperature checker it comes with is pointless and does not work. Once it is at the right temperature your good to go! It does feel strange but the times i have used it i have never ended up swollowing the water. It works well and the stuff that comes out is satisfying. I feel this is much beeter then constantly blowing your nose and making your nose dry and sore. Great value for money.

I have been struggling with my hay-fever for a long time, so this was a last resort purchase. Very simple and easy instructions to follow, it's great that it comes with so many packs of salt too!

After using it a few times, it gives me quite a bit of relief throughout the rest of the day.

I bought this product cause i've seen some advertising about it and i've decided to try it.
I never had so clearly breath since i using it.
I give it more than 5 star if i can.

Bought this for my wife as she suffers with sinus problems. She used it twice and said it didn’t really work. Expensive experiment! It’s essentially just a plastic squeezy bottle that squirts water up your nose. She said that it made her sinuses feel worse and now it’s in the bin. Don’t waste your money.

hard to beat the quality for the price. heated my in microwave by putting inside another glass of water. shipped on time,instructions good, only problem,tried to use without saline sol, panicked, snorted up nose. two days before I found the courage to try again,

When I was using this product for the first time I thought there’s no way this is going to work but I was wrong. I’ve used the Neilmed squeezy bottle for years which is ok but this is better. When you use this you get a trickle of water flowing from your nose which doesn’t really feel like it’s going to be that good but afterwards my nose felt cleaner and clearer than it’s been for a long time. I’ve suffered with a stuffy nose, no smell or taste for 20 years. It’s infuriating at times particularly when you have to keep explaining to people that you can’t smell or taste and they think it’s amusing which it’s most certainly not! Not being able to enjoy food and not being able to smell virtually anything is very frustrating hence the reason I’ve been trying to find something to help with that for a very long time. I’ve had good success with prednisone steroids but unfortunately you can’t stay on them for very long unless you want to do your body serious harm. This safer natural approach although not perfect has definitely helped recently even after a short period of time. I do believe that I’ve even started to get some sort of taste and smell improvement which is fantastic. I’m still using my ongoing prescription nasal spray a long with this product which I imagine I’ll continue to do so but eventually I’d like to try ween off the nasal spray and see what happens. I boil tap water in a kettle and allow it to cool down until it’s luke warm and then add it to the bottle. You get about 60 nasal rinse salt sachets with this purchase which will last 30 days assuming you use the product twice a day. I use it first thing in the morning and about an hour before I go to bed. You can buy the Neilmed sachets afterwards which will be fine. Don’t be tempted to use any nasal rinsing devices without the salt sachets as I’ve found out the hard way once when I ran out and just used neat tap water. The sachets soften the water and without them added it’s really uncomfortable, almost a burning irritation. Not pleasant ! Definitely worth a look if you’re a long term Hayfever or allergy sufferer like myself. You might be surprised. Good luck

As a first time user, this is very easy to set up and to use.

It works perfectly well. Water flows easily out of the spout and into the nose. I really don't know how anyone could make it not function. And the results are excellent, I have found that I breath easier and do not have the sneezing fits as before.

Oh boy, let me regale you with the tale of my misadventures with the Nasal Wash Bottle. I had high hopes for this little contraption, thinking it would blast away my nasal troubles with the force of a firehose. But oh, how wrong I was! I pressed that valve like a mad scientist conducting a top-secret experiment, expecting a mighty stream to powerfully cleanse my congested nostrils. But instead, It was like trying to clean a dirty window with a limp noodle – utterly useless!
Every time I put it down, that sneaky valve would unleash a tiny river of liquid, making it seem like I had a perpetual nose leak , with water squirting where it shouldn't be! Say goodbye to dignity and hello to a wet surprise. But fear not, brave soul! It's like a comedy skit gone wrong.I give it one star only because there's no option for negative stars – it's a colossal disappointment.
