Parents love the Nanit camera for its helpful features such as breathing monitoring, good video quality, and ease of use. However, some users have experienced issues with disconnection and lagging, and others feel that the subscription service is not worth the high price. Despite these drawbacks, the majority of users believe that the Nanit is a worthwhile investment to provide peace of mind while monitoring their baby's sleep.

We use the Nanit for our little tyke and enjoy the quality for the money. Will use for our future baby too. Recommend.
Love this monitor. So convenient to have access of the camera to my phone. Love the option for breathing monitoring it really gave me a piece of mind as a first time mom, especially when my baby started sleeping on their belly.
Sure, this can all seem a little overkill but the monitoring system allows you all to be out at ease through the night. I would have to say though that my favorite thing is being able to see my baby on the Nanit camera while I’m at my firehouse for 48 hours. It’s been really cool to have that ability to check on my sweet baby at all times of the night if I happen to be up. The ability to pop in and say “good morning!” While my wife and baby are up is just an awesome thing. I highly recommend this product!
Love this camera. Worth the money!
The Nanit is the best baby item we have used. It gives parents peace of mind, especially when starting crib naps and transitioning to the crib overnight. It is absolutely worth the investment.
Really like the product, although I expected better video quality for the price
I’m using th is for my baby’s room and I love it. The view is good and I can speak to her also.
If you are a new mom like I am, just buy the the monitor. You will sleep better knowing your babies movements and breathing are being monitored.
The camera is great. I can see and hear everything
All of the features are helpful
There is a 10-20 second lagg when working. The video is constantly going out. It’s not my internet which is the fastest internet I can buy. Also the smart feature is horrible. It is always telling me there is movement when no one is even in the room… then when I am surprised my baby is on the other end of the crib the nanit says she did not move all night?
The nanit cam has been great... For the first year. Never had an issue with the camera until we opted not to pay the $5/month, now the camera constantly disconnects, is severely laggy and sometimes just doesn't work at all.
We love the Nanit. We have used other cameras with our other kids and this has been by far the best one!
I can’t say that I’ve used all the bells and whistles this monitor comes with, but we have really enjoyed it in general. Even without the subscription, they send age related tips to help improve sleep routines. When my son goes into his own room I’m sure we’ll use the sleep band to track his breathing and waking patterns, but we cosleep at night so I know when he’s awake or not for now lol the video quality is really good and the nightlight comes in handy! It’s easy to travel with (with the travel stand) and I got a tripod so it’s even better when we’re away from home. I like that it’s on my phone and not a separate monitor. It’s really nice overall! As a first time parent it really give us peace of mind when he’s napping and we’re downstairs doing things.
I love the camera and system features. Nanit makes it so easy to keep an eye on your precious little one.
I picked the nanit out because it did the breathing monitoring. We tried for 13 years to have our little miracle so I was a, more than usual, anxious mom. I have loved having this as a tool to help me be the best mom I can be. I love that it tracks breathing, motions, does video clips, tracks when our girl goes to sleep and when she wakes up. We don’t use the sheets but I bet we would love that too. I use the nightlight when I get her for nursing and we always use the sound machine. I love that I can check on her when we’re out and the sitter is there or if I’m worried about her in the middle of the night.
The only con is when updates are coming through it always asks me to update right before I’m about to use it. Also, it’ll occasionally lose connection and the sound machine portion cuts out. This will wake our girl up. I know nanit doesn’t have much control over the internet connection but this is one big reason I reduced a star.
Do not waste your money.
When you need it the most app on iphone is frozen.
Delayed video and sound.
Sleeping Vest your kid will feel unconfortable.
There are other Solutions way more CHEAPER
I freaking love this camera. It tracks everything for us, and it even provides real tips and tricks when it notices that we have certain habits and tendencies. I love that it notices the little things because I’m so worried about a zillion other things I would have never thought about it. It’s so helpful for a first time mom like me and I don’t even have the premium service package it try’s to sell you. Literally everything I feel is necessary it already comes with. The one thing I am not fond about is the timing. I feel it’s a smidge off like it will say that my baby was helped 5 minutes ago when I know I walked away from her crib just 2 minutes ago. It’s really only a smidge but it can be a little misleading. Nothing to cry over though!! Incredible camera. WELL WORTH THE MONEY SPENT!
My wife and I was struggling trying to figure out which system to purchase for the arrival of our son. We initially were going to purchase an Owlet system but apparently it's not as reliable or put together as we had initially hoped. We came across the Nanit by chance, the reviews were amazing. We have confirmed that everything about this system is awesome. The app is clean, the system is easy to set up, night vision is clear, and we get steady alerts. We can also talk to the little one. So this is an awesome system, for sure it is worth the money.
I really liked this for about 6 months. Then randomly it just doesn't want to connect to the app or our phones anymore. I have tried everything recommended. I submitted two tickets four days ago and nanit won't even get back to me. Go with a different one.
I was able to move my baby into his own room/crib by the time he was 6-7 weeks old and 100% trust this device to monitor my baby.
(I had an adult mattress in there and slept with him for the first few weeks, but then he was on his own shortly thereafter)
Absolutely not worth the money! We were gifted the Nanit in December and didn't start using it until the middle of February, it is now the beginning of April and already our camera is broken!!! Customer service is requiring us to send them proof of purchase and videos of us plugging the camera in to prove that it is not working (which I understand) but it will now take a 'manager' 24hr to review the claim. They are offering to expedite shipping which can take up to 3 days for us to receive, if the claim is approved. We are now stuck with no way to monitor our child for AT LEAST the next 5+ days completely unacceptable in my opinion the company should be ashamed of the turnaround time for a claim when it comes to monitoring our littles! This is such an inconvenience for my husband and I, we can no longer put our son down for naps during the day without one of us being close by which isn't an option not to mention how am I supposed to monitor my three-month-old that is just starting to make his transition to the crib in his room as he is too big for his bassinet that is in our room!
Would not recommend to anyone. And will be sure to direct people to another option if they are even interested in this monitor..
Wonderful app, great analytics, very reliable
This $300 camera requires a $200/yr subscription to get any of the useful functions. You're better off with a $40 Ring stick up camera.
Just got hit with the end of the 1 year of insights basics and am not happy at all now. The camera was great for the first 4 months of so we had it but about 6 months ago the app started to have issues. We would constantly have issues with the camera disconnecting for the wifi, and thusly not getting notifications and then our insights for the night were way off. Multiple nights it wouldn't even detect that we had taken our baby out of bed multiple times during the night and tried to tell us he slept 10 hours straight. Now that we've had the camera up for a year we no longer have access to breathingwear monitoring or baby measurements. First night with what us considered the "free" plan after the year and just found our sick 1 year old had been up for an hour crying. The app shows sound notifications every 2 minutes for the past hour but not a single push notification was made to our phones 😖 and because we don't have insights anymore I can't see if the whole time he was actually awake and crying or if he was just stirring and making noise in his sleep until he woke me up. Now they want $120 to give us back the features we had for free for another year. I don't want to pay that much for such a faulty app.
Tldr if you plan on using the camera for over a year it's going to cost you half of thr price of tbe camera to continue to use it like when you bought it every year after you've have been using if for a year. App is glitchy and it's doesn't feel worth it to pay that much annually
I own two nanits and have been using since 2020. The camera I purchased in July 2022, suddenly stopped working. It will not pair or connect. It is a wall mounted camera so it’s not been moved in any way before it stopped working. I spent two lengthy phone calls troubleshooting with Nanit over the phone. The first call ended when I needed to wait for my husband to get home to try connecting from a different device as well as attempting to connect using a different hotspot/internet source.
That did not resolve my problem. I called again and went through another trouble shooting process. It ended by Nanit Support telling me they were sending it to their tech support. Since then, I’ve exchanged emails over the last few days of them instructing me to try more trouble shooting attempts that were already attempted between the other phone calls.
Drawn out and difficult process. Annoying that we are trying the same things over and over.
We use the camera to watch over our baby while sleeping and are pleased with the quality and alerting capabilities. We think the $10.00/month subscription requirement to see activities during the past 12 hours is a ripoff. Would rather use other products that can store on a local device, even an inexpensive security camera that would be hundreds of dollars cheaper and no required subscription. If you want or need breathing or heartbeat monitoring maybe you need this high priced offering. For simple altering when the child awakes, wish we would have made a different purchase decision.
I love being able to see my baby when I am at work! The ability to see live footage or even rewind to previous events is amazing!
A good camera, does what’s promised, and this is the least it can do considering the high price.
However, I faced an issue while creating the account on the app, tried to contact customer support, it’s been almost a week with no proper reply. Tens of international calls were made with no answer. I stayed more than an hour waiting the operator with no luck.
So think twice before getting it because if anything goes wrong, you won’t be heard or compensated
We bought this in 2019 for our first child and for a awhile we were happy with it and even recommended it to our friends. The paid membership for a year gives nice insights. After three years it suddenly stopped working. We initially bought something so expensive because we figured it will serve two kids at least. Their support was a disgrace, they took ages to provide feedback or give answers and basically said they cannot help because it is outside of the guarantee timeframe. Again, for something so expensive that's fixed on a wall... I'd rethink this purchase if I were you.

This chalkboard calendar has received mixed reviews. Some customers love the look and function, as well as the fact that it helps with organization. Others have complained about the light color of the pencils, which makes it hard to see what is written. The product has also arrived damaged for some customers, with weak magnets and no screws or attachments for hanging. However, many have found it easy to write on and clean, with no accidental erasing or smudging. Overall, it seems like a good option for those who prefer chalkboards over dry-erase boards.
