MyDHR App Review: Users express the need for pre-filling data to save time, inclusion of imaging results, and simplicity in security measures. The app's ability to view pathology and sync appointments to calendars is highly praised. Blood test results with detailed comparisons to normal values are a highlight. However, some users report missing information and difficulties in adding medications. Despite some minor issues, the app is considered a game-changer in Canberra's medical care.

Needs to allow pre filling of data so that when a new service started you don’t have to answer all the same questions again.
Great little app but it’d be better if imaging results were included.
As someone with tons of medical appointments I’d be sunk without this app. The ability to view your pathology etc is also fantastic.
Excellent App. Well designed, easy to use. Well done to the developers. Can you now please teach the federal government how to do it!
The DHR App is easy to use and understand, it has all the information and results in the one place. It syncs your appointments to your calendar seamlessly.
The text messages that you also receive when a new result or note is left in the app is very handy also.
I rate this app 10/10
I think MyDHR is a wonderful app I use it all the time
Not all my tests or scans are available there information is missing it would be great if all imaging and blood test results were uploaded
Great app for tracking my health appointments and records with the surgeon and clinic. Will be even better when my GP is also using.
I love MyDHR. It’s easy to use. All my appointments and reminders right there on my phone. Most of all, you get to see all your test results. I wish that GP’s would use the data base.
Skip this step next time? Skip this step next time? Skip this step next time? Skip this step next time? Skip this step next time? Skip this step next time?
Turned the option on to “Skip this step next time? Skip this step next time” and still asking “ Skip this step next time?” Why bother making the option????
There not much point having the app if there are no notes from the visits
Not really sure about this. In theory it’s great, but it seems to be missing a lot of information.
It is hard to work out how to add medications - it would be useful to be able to do this easily for practitioners to verify at an appointment rather than having to remember everything
I love this Ap - best thing ever - real time alerts of test results! Finally technology to keep you informed of your health care!
Hi I’m just writting to let you know how hard this site is to use, it appears you are only catering for the very well educated computer users, I was not even aware of this app until I received a message and there were appointments on there to Belconnon hospital pain management clinic which I stopped attending over a year ago, so anyone accessing my info, would be of the opinion I was missing appointments, when in fact I changed doctors and went to a private pain management clinic, a real clinic, as the one I was attending is simply a drug rehabilitation unit, no interest at all in your condition or disabilities, I was made to feel in group sessions that I was part of the act street drug takers heroin etc, not an injured and partially incapacitated person, you need to make this site user friendly to those over I’d say 35 years of age, not only frustrating to use, but had me having panic attacks, exsposed on a site, with incorrect information on a clinic I did not attend
Thanks jo
This is a dog’s breakfast of an application. I bet the internal system is poorly architected and poorly developed. It doesn’t leave much confidence that my personal records will be safe. The user experience is completely broken. I’ve tried 3x’s to sign up and still painfully haven’t been able to sign up.
I wonder how many millions of dollars was spent on this piece of junk.
Immediate. Thorough information provided and very user friendly.
Hard to set up and no assistance provided. Why is it so difficult to set up . Not everyone is and IT geek particularly elderly sick people.
Really positive
I do not have Covid anymore and I keep getting sent emails and notifications everyday to do actions in the app.
Please stop sending me emails and notifications.
Lab results are not updated on time
I opened my laptop today and I had 5 emails from MDHR.
I understand that support is important for many people, maybe even me at times, but when you are not feeling well the last thing you want to do is answer emails!
How do I stop the daily monitoring as it has been 10 days and I feel fine pls?
This app works well for patients, when the information entered is correct. The best part is that blood test results are available within 24 hours and are outlined in detail with comparisons to normal for each marker. Very impressive.
Please try and keep the security simple. I have a code and now I find you are requiring a further code to email or phone . Many of us users are older persons who will just give up if requirements get too complex. Thanks
Great to use but some things don’t load like discharge summary charts. However I think this is a fantastic app and will revolutionise medical care in Canberra!:)
At first I just got several emails telling me to sign in to DHR, did not have a clue I even had an account , thought it was a scam so contacted DHR . They said I didn’t have to do anything , it was not a scam.
Then I got an email offering me an earlier appointment for something I have been waiting for an appointment for since may 2022, so I was curious.
I tried to log in, I even took the initiative to download the App into my phone still without any success after a dozen attempts I called their helpline.
The person who I spoke to was helpful , said I had opened this account some time ago and knew my user number and other details. I did not recall ever opening this, besides it is apparently just new!
I started again on the App of DHR , using my given username , requested “ forgotten password” and the App started to open for me , after I changed my password of course !
This whole process took up about 1 and and half hours !!
It’s all well and good having this “new system” but educating people to access it might be given some thought
Before you role it out!
What about those people who do not use mobile phones , lap tops or computers? These are likely to be the elderly , who’s medical history would outweigh any millenniums ?
We are not all tech savvy , I myself know just enough to get by.
We are leaving the elderly behind.
Not everyone has the time to navigate something new just to find out what message is being sent to them .
While I agree it’s a great idea , teach people how to use it before rolling it out .
Can’t even set up an account??
Same as above - useless! terrible information about how to sign up. Link to signup portal impossible to locate on the ACT access canberra mydhr website, captcha tick wont work on portable device, online (laptop) or app, still cant access anything.
No way to sign up within the app. You can login if you have an account. It was difficult to work out how to register an account online (outside of the app) and when I did the registration form was broken and wouldn’t submit. Does not fill me with confidence around how this was built.
