I travelled to Miami and booked a balcony cabin on the 10th floor. The cabin was lovely and spacious, well worth the money. I received very good service from the staff onboard and in the MDR but I must say the meals were poor for dinner. I cannot consume dairy or sugar,…
The good: - Food was amazing in every restaurant we ate in. We took the 3 day dining package to split up our week, which was a real treat... although we wouldn't of needed to with the choice onboard. The Japanese restaurant was stand out. - My daughter (5 at the time) LOVED the kids club. There were so many other activities to do onboard too. She still talks about the carousel, every single day. - The shows were INCREDIBLE. Hairspray was amazing, could of easily been on broadway. The aqua show was brilliant, I would recommend going on your first or second night just in case it gets cancelled due to weather. Again, the ice skating show was great. The entertainment in general was just amazing. - Service was outstanding. We didn't have any bad customer service the entire trip. The bad: - It was REALLY busy. Of course it's one of the biggest ships in the world, but it really was busy. Often couldn't get a sunbed next to the pool, especially the kids pool. - One of the excursions we went on, a party of about 10 people were late, even though they said we had a strict leaving time... we had to wait 50 minutes for this party to arrive. I don't mind waiting 10 minutes extra because we've all been there and been running late... but the problem was we had to wait on the dock, in the burning sun with no shade or water. My 5 year old got sunburnt. Royal Caribbean took NO responsibility for the shortened excursion (we left almost an hour late in the end) and the lack of shade/ organisation. They said it was completely down to the excursion company, even though we had no information of the company name etc of the excursion company as it was all booked through RC. Recommend: - Using the royal up feature before you travel, just in case you can snag a cheaper upgrade. - Making reservations as soon as you can for restaurants and shows. - Decorating your cabin door. Magnets, pictures etc. My daughter LOVED looking at peoples doors and it also made it slightly easier to find our cabin (after a few drinks haha). - Wear comfortable shoes. I walked more onboard this ship than I did at a day at Disneyworld. …
Amazing time so much for everybody to do never feels over crowded restaurants clean and allergy friendly.
If not for the ports of call, this trip would have been a total disappointment. The ship is huge and still decently maintained but Royal Caribbean has taken budget cuts and cheapness to a whole new level. Food was awful, the only good option was the windjammer, and forget about finding a place to sit. In addition, half of the food stations in the windjammer was always closed for a cruise ship with over 6000 passengers; it’s their way of limiting food and number of food stations open. They now charge for room service, and the menu is very limited. They police the ice cream, you’re not allowed to get your own, the formal dining is a joke, food is pretty much inedible. Your room is cleaned only once a day, try not to be messy after 9 hour excursion days. The list goes on. RC pretty much forces you to get the dining package which is astronomically priced. The ship is packed to capacity, you have to reserve going to all shows, the lines are ridiculous and the staff treat you like you’re in boot camp when trying to get back on the ship. Thanks but no thanks RC. Your standards have dropped to the bottom of the barrel.…
It is the best so far trip with Family and with young kids. Full of activities 24/7. Visit lovely cities. Full board meals with special dinner at night. Availability of snacks all the times with specialty of ice creams. Shops available, children activities at all times. Shows, events, movies, a city itself and a moving hotel. Water park activities, all kind of pools and jacuzzis and water shows. For a locked trip with your family away from city traffic, this is the best ever holiday.…
The best cruiseline! We thoroughly enjoyed all the ship had to offer. Clean, Service was great! Would definitely go back!
I have been to Mediterranean tour we were 7 people. Everything was ok but food in Windjammer was a little bit repetitive. There wasn't olive in Mediterranean cruise ship. İnternet quite expensive ,33 dollars . Service charge %18 for bar service and non alcoholic drinks. City…
We were "upgraded" to an inside balcony. The reason we cruise is to enjoy the sea and to see the ports from that vantage point. Neither of those are possible from the inside balcony. Also, we were close to the stern of the ship where the programs occur in the evening. Those…
Symphony of the Seas. July 2023, Barcelona to Rome. OAPs on the loose. I was surprised I liked it so much, I'm not attracted to such large ships, but it was very good and despite over 5000 passengers, didn't feel crowded. It had a wow factor in the Broadway Street through the…
Second cruise taken with the first being Harmony of the seas (royal Caribbean) This cruise line is a five star cruise line with alot of activities and off shore excursions
My family and I embarked on the 7 Night Western Mediterranean Cruise aboard Symphony of the Seas on June 18th from Barcelona. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a significant luggage issue that cast a shadow over the entire trip. Upon arriving in Barcelona, we…
Our first cruise was completely ruined by Symphony of the Seas. Yes it's amazing ship and the shows are fantastic but beware. We paid for the delux drinks package before we went and gratuitous believing this would prevent any unwanted costs. Wrong... They charged us a twice for…
In May 2023 i planned a family vacation of 14 to celebrate my moms graduation and want to tell MY story of my recent sailing on Symphony. The day we boarded the ship we went to our cabin only to find a females dirty shorts on the floor and a dirty medicine cup on the bedside…
Enjoyed overall. Food was a bit similar every day compared to other boats we had been on. Staff were lovely. However transport on return journey was terrible. We were left to find our own way home, even though we had paid for transportation. Even though we had been waiting since…
We started our cruise on the 28th May, ship was very impressive. It was our first cruise and was so excited. There is a great atmosphere around the pools and drinks are great. Main dining food was hit or miss unfortunately. Mexican was fab. When we checked out we discovered…
We were so excited about going on this cruise, it was, as far as we were concerned an experience of a life time, I can tell you how disappointed we ended up being. Our arrival was on deck 5, where guest services is located, it was super crowded and music was extremely loud, it…
This is our first cruise, and we were a little anxious about how it would be. We usually enjoy vacations with fewer people and prefer more relaxed concepts. This is a trip with the whole family, and we tried to have a positive attitude. First, I just want to recommend to…
Having enjoyed a number of RC cruises in the past, we were looking forward to another.but were underwhelmed with this one. This mega ship has lots of facilities for children and young people but none of the style some of their other ships offered for more discerning cruisers.…
We are RC fans and this is the biggest ship we've been on. I was worried it would seem crowded but this couldn't have been further from the truth! Lots of space, never over busy, lots to do, exciting itineraries (which included 12 hour port stops). Food was excellent in main…
Firstly, the website gives you very little info and very little to get you excited after you have booked, you have to find images and videos on youtube etc. when you book through an agent, Royal Caribbean dont want to know you and refer you back through your agent, not the most…
The ship itself was OK and the shows were fantastic but sadly the food on offer was of poor quality and certainly not up to the same standard that we've had on a previous royal carrabien cruise. The service was rushed with orders being mixed up and food arriving cold.
I enjoyed SOTS after not being certain due to traveling solo. But …. Buy the excursions and the packages before you go for best value. Food is excellent and plenty to do. Didn’t feel lonely and also boat didn’t feel crowded even though there is +5000 on board. It’s all in the…
This ship is the biggest in the world &has the whow factor plus it was amazing so much to see and do everyone was so friendly it was a pleasure to be on board The cabin over looked Central Park with water tubes above the cabin so much everywhere the mini golf on top deck with…
ROYAL CARIBBEAN TRANSATLANTIC MIAMA TO BARCELONA We have travelled on 16 cruises all around the world on 7 different cruise lines; this was the most disappointing we have ever had for many reasons... Here are our main gripes:- The sundecks 15 & 16 are abysmal, the whole area…
This was our first cruise for two special birthdays. All we can say is wow. This is a fabulous ship and all the staff were wonderful. We certainly made the most of our drinks package trying lots of different cocktails. We loved our stateroom and the bed was really comfortable.…
My Wife and I just returned from a 7 night Eastern Caribbean (St Maarten, St Thomas, CocoCay) cruise aboard Symphony Of The Seas. We have travelled to several destinations and cruised a couple times. In terms of activities and sight seeing, this cruise was my favorite vacation…
While there are many good things about this ship and the people who work on it, I just cannot recommend such a large ship. First, the good - The staff is wonderful. They are always friendly and cheerful (and I know I wouldn't always be cheerful if I had to work so hard and…
My wife and I sailed out of Miami on Symphony of the Seas on March 9, 2023 for a 12-day cruise to Barcelona, Spain. It is our third cruise on Royal Caribbean (a 10-day cruise of the Mexican Riveria in 2010 and another cruise to the Caribbean in 2016). The embarkation, although…
Let's start with the food in the main dining room is horrible and the treatment is just as bad. The windjammer food was the best, its was always crowed and you can see a lot of table with dirty plates and people waiting for the crew to clean the tables. The entertainment shows…
Cruise Director Clo sucks. Very surprised.. the only good thing was are room I cruised with royal carribean in the past but never again specially new years eve cruise.. the entertainment was okay the food was garbage you can tell they don't pay any attention to detail when it…

Salt is a highly recommended restaurant in Tirana with excellent food and service. They offer a wide range of choices including seafood, meat, and drinks. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant has a beautiful decor and a great atmosphere. The sushi is top-notch and comparable to the best in cities like New York and London. Overall, Salt is a must-visit dining destination in Albania.
