Mixed Reviews for Protein Pop Tarts

First time purchasing this. Opened the day after receiving and it had mold!

I love these. I buy a pack or two from my local Vitamin Shoppe every so often, so I decided to try getting them on Amazon for convenience. Unfortunately, the quality is incredibly inconsistent here. I’ve received moldy product more times than I can count. Seems like a waste when more than half of the product needs to be tossed because of this issue. If quality control was better, these would get a high rating from me. I love poptarts, pastries, sweets, you name it. Buy these local to you and you won’t be disappointed. Don’t risk buying them here.

Kind of gross and eggy

These were beyond disgusting. Couldn’t get down a single bite. I tried to give them to my kids and there was a full mutiny. So gross. Worse still, they don’t offer refunds. Double kick to the under carriage. 0/10. Would not recommend. Would discourage.

Taste is TERRIBLE! Very chemically. 10/10 for texture, 0/10 for smell (smell is foul), 0/10 for taste. Wanted to love, but just could not. Glad I only paid for one at my gym! Better than paying $11.00 at the store and wasting the rest of them.

I just got these 3 days ago and when I opened them they had mold. I’m hoping something can be done to make this right.

No returns and gross...

These are disgusting. Completely inedible. I usually love protein snacks, but these are really bad. Don’t waste your money

 we have a toaster we’ve never had any issues with and for the first time, we popped one into it. started smoking about 2 minutes later and then fire started to form inside the toaster after that. the toaster flipped on its side then dripped the pop tart onto the floor and it won’t come off our floor. obviously that’s not their fault but ummm why would it catch on fire !?!?!? ALSO they don’t taste good at all. tastes like meat.

These are a little too sweet and I’m not in love with them.

I think some people are not used to eating protein bars and don’t like protein powder flavor which is why there are some negative reviews. I have had many different protein bars and cookies over the years, this one is a new favorite! I think they’re soft and not overly sweet. Love the flavor options

If you’re looking for more of a really dense scone with some filling that happens to look like pop tart - look no further. These should really be marketed as filled scones instead of pop tarts because of the density of the pastry and the texture.

The birthday cake flavor does not taste good - it just tastes artificial - and I usually have to drink a bitter tea with it to even try to eat the thing. That plus the texture makes it a pass for me - and I even tried eating a few of them to see if they grew on me.

Totally smashed when it arrived. They are a crumbly mess and actually smell like chemicals. Sad I can’t return or exchange these

I am not a picky eater. I bought the red velvet flavor of this and it may just be the most disgusting and repulsive thing that has ever entered my mouth. My whole family tried it and we all spit it out, continuing on to wash out our mouthes for minutes

Expiration isn’t until November but I opened one and it had a funky smell and a giant spot of mold on it. Gross!

No sugar? 20 grams of protein? Gluten free? High in calcium? Heck yes! Got these because my birthday is coming up and was pleasantly surprised. Delicious and pastry-like texture, way better than protein bars. Would definitely purchase again.

I do not recommend buying this because it's very very gross. It tastes like cardboard and the filling has a weird after taste.

Why would a healthy product Include red, yellow, blue dyes - not good for you or kids! Do your research!

Great and quick for a on the go breakfast, tad to sweet for my tastes.

These things bring me back to life! If I’m in a pinch and I’m starving I reach for these, they’re delicious and filling. Buy these and savor every minute!

I have tried the brown sugar 5stars, strawberry 4.5 stars, I just got birthday cake haven’t tried them yet. These in my opinion are worth the price. Trying to find tasty sweet treats that are healthy is damn near impossible. These are incredible!

Delicious, amazing macro count, I can't stop eating them. Actually, save them for days when I have had a really good workout as they are a little pricey. I have tried 4 flavors of these and birthday cake is the best. SOOOOO yummy, it feels like I am cheating on my macros, but I am not! Strawberry is also really amazing. Don't love the red velvet at all. Cinnamon is good, just not my personal favorite.
