  • Spacious room, nice location

    Located not far from the beach and close to one of the woods, we preferred this location. Van der Valk is a wel known brand with a lot of value for money. Room was spacious, with a nice bathroom. All kinds of details had been thought of.

    Very welcoming staff and amazing location close to the nature park and next to the cities of the island. Restaurant is charming, rooms are very clean and quite. We are vegan and the restaurant easily adapt the menu for us.

  • No frills

    Our room was small, the beds soft, but cleanliness, free wi-fi and breakfast were fine. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but the menu is attractive and the bar is open until about 23.00. The island is the attraction, and forrest, dunes and beach are near enough. I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay, if only due to the lack of amenities, but fine for a night or two.

    Lovely hotel in a quiet area! Perfect service! Nice, clean and big rooms! Romantic vieuw. Rent-a-bike possibilities, location close to the beach. We spent 3 nights in this hotel and will come back, with our kids. Special friendly personal in this hotel

  • Excellent dinner

    We had an excellent 3 course dinner at the restaurant, reservation is needed due to many guests. Very friendly personnel. Choice of main course meat or fish with an excellent starter with duck and very tasteful dessert. Good price/quality ratio.

  • Family get together

    We celebrated Grandma's 90th Birthday here. The hotel staff were very helpful in supporting decorating etc. Price to quality ratio was very good. I'll probably stay here again if I visit Texel a next time.

  • Very comfortable and elegant hotel to relax and enjoy countryside

    The hotel is about 4 km from the The Koog but just a few steps from Ecomare. If you are looking for bicycling, running or seaside, this is an ideal place. Rooms are large, comfortable and peaceful but there is no coffee-tea facilities inside. Staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast is super! Wi-Fi is free of charge but it doesn't work very well.

  • Very nice hotel for a weekend in Texel

    We booked thru Groupon and had a fantastic 2 nights deal included Bfast. We loved this hotel, really quiet place, nice room ( we had a comfort one ) with wifi, nice pub on ground floor, we tried the restaurant 1 evening as they had good reviews, food was plenty, good deal for the price of the 3 courses menu. we will come back to this hotel while visiting Lovely Texel again

  • One night stay

    The hotel was a nice place to be. On the day we arrived we take our dinner at the restaurant this was very good and tasty. Also the breakfast was very good. From the hotel you can walk in the woods and to the beach. We enjoyed our stay.

  • Nice hotel, value for money

    We were with a group of approx 100 people. Everybody was enthusiastic about this hotel and the hotel was able to serve a (very good) dinner in a short period so that everyone could have dinner at the same time. Hotel offers additional services such a bike rental (recommended)
