Mixed Reviews for Pro Ears Stealth 28 Ear Plugs for Shooting

So I used these for a little bit and they were okay, not great for an indoor range but for outdoors it was quite nice. However after sitting for a bit I recharged them only to find one side is now super quiet and the sound difference between the ears is noticable.

Save your money and just buy some earplugs.

I bought these due to Walkers making my original in ear Silencers obsolete. I won't buy Walkers again. 0 Customer Service. So I'm trying Pro-Ears. These are comfortable to wear, wore them all day on a skeet range and they did fine. Have not used at a indoor range. I'd add muffs over any in ear protection at any indoor range. Good assortment of the in ear foam pieces. These never shut off for loud noises, but reduce the sound to a safe level. My old active ear pro clips and shuts off for a split second. - Minus one star, as you add volume you get a white noise hiss in the background for the highest 2 settings. That may be my damaged ears? These are also more on the treble side for the amplified sounds compared to Walkers in ear silencers. May be a plus for some, not so much for others. I added the little foam covers and did not notice the wind being a big problem. These are a lot less $$ than Walkers, So fewer tone controls, But they do the Job. Might have to give the Blue Tooth model a try next.

Got to the range and put these in, I had my doubts, by the end of the day I was impressed.

Pros:
Good noise cancelling
Comfortable for about an hour or so
Very light weight (didn't even notice them)
Shooting glasses don't break the seal
Multiple tips to get the right fit

Cons:
Takes a little work to seat them
Normal conversation is not amplified very loud
After about 90 minutes my ears got a little irritated, but it may have been how I had them positioned

Al in all I'm pretty happy with these. Was at the range for about 3 hours and when I got home my ears weren't ringing. I've tried several types of ear muff and the shooting glasses always break the seal defeating the purpose of the hearing protection.

These work very well. I use them to shoot trap and they don't interfere with the shotgun stock. It's great that you can hear the other shooters, and hear the cease fire alarm when shooting. the other plus is that they don't need batteries, you just re charge them.

I have used these multiple times on the gun range, and not a single issue. I shoot with a large group of friends, and hear conversations just fine while shooting. Excellent product!
