This review is for Hotel Roermond, not Hotel Roermond Next Door, which is located approx. 100m across the main road. Although the guests at Roermond Next Door check in and have their breakfast at Hotel Roermond, it is essentially 2 different buildings. This hotel is located right next to the train station. This hotel has just been completed in April 2018, so everything is modern, chic and spanking new. The smell of new carpet greets you as the lift door opens on the floor.   • Good value for money

    I was booked into a rather large room located at the front of the hotel. When I had the windows open the ring road in front of the hotel was loud, when the windows were closed I didn’t really have any issues. Airco was working well, bed was super comfortable. Best shower I’ve had in a hotel room in years. Not a super fancy hotel but well enough for just one night

  • Beautiful hotel

    I have experienced such a clean and well organized hotel for the first time. Carpet floor in the room ensures a dust-free room. Very clean bedding and a mattress topper that makes it complete. A mold-free bathroom with a clear separation between toilet and shower. Modern decorated. Very customer-friendly employees and a breakfast buffet that is absolutely sufficient. In other words, a hotel that is different from ordinary.

  • Great location and service

    Stayed here during a convention and really loved this place. Rooms are very well maintained, clean and spacious. Staff os very friendly and the breakfast buffet is amazing. Hotel is adhecent to the train station which is both ideal and a nuisance due to the noice of commuters in the morning and delivery trucks. I would recommend requesting a room on the other side of the hotel. But overall very pleasant stay.

  • Good location, clean and friendly

    Check-in was efficient and friendly. The location was perfect and within walking distance from the station. We got upgraded to a family room which was huge with two double beds, 2 tvs, a nice bathroom. The bathroom was clean and had a great shower. It would be nice to have less plastic and have large, fixed bottles of soap and shampoo instead of all the small ones. This was however not a problem at breakfast as all the jam and spreads were served in small, reusable glass jars. The breakfast was nice and there was lots of choice. Staff were friendly but we found it a bit weird that we were completely ignored by check-in staff when we walked in later in the evening. A smile or hello would have been nice.

  • Convenient and neat

    Well located hotel on train station plaza. Rooms are clean and elegant. Car park available below hotel. Nice walk in shower. Restaurant available on site. Good Breakfast. Overall good quality for value

  • Modern, comfortable hotel

    We arrived late (after 10pm) so could not use the restaurant. However, check-in was very efficient, the staff friendly, the room clean and comfortable, and with a good breakfast. Private car park under the hotel. Good value at the price we payed online. Would definitely use again.

  • Lovely stay.

    Me, my mom and 9 months daughter arrived late evening. The location is the best, in the center of the city. Was easy to find. And I was so happy, that parking was straightly in the same building and included to the price of the stay (no extra, like in some other hotels). The room has modern design and a city center view which is cool to put in instagram. But the star of the stay is a nice administrator 👨 who was working on the reception. Our check in was fast and warm welcomed which is already very good. And then we couldn’t turn on the conditioner and I called him, he made it work, and what is most important- fast , polite and without any bothering. The breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice and good coffee. Thank you, we will for sure stay again.

  • New hotel on a great location near railwaystation

    This hotel is quite new. Located near the railway station and across the bar/restaurant area the location is very good. If you want to use the parking garage you need to use the railway station entrance. Room was very clean and quite although located near a main road. Not sure if the same thing counts when the room is located at the railway side? Staff is very friendly. On the ground floor there is a decent restaurant which serves a good breakfast.

  • Good choice for Roermond

    Stayed for one night and was pleasantly surprised. Check In was seemless and was upgraded to a large room in the third floor with a small lounge area and bedroom. WiFi was good. Bathroom was nice and good shower. The station is adjacent and although the trains running through could be heard, it wasn’t unduly noisy. The brasserie is great. Breakfast had plenty of choice.

  • Ok business hotel. But my god poor service

    Stayed 1 night as part of a large pax of business people having a global meeting in Roermond. It took me 30 minutes to check in. One girl in reception and 10 in the line. Why not more staff and why such a slow process Room was ok, nothing special. Same with bathroom Too close to the railway station Would avoid if possible. Many better options in Roermond
