Marinapark Volendam is a lovely hotel with spacious rooms and a beautiful terrace/balcony. The accommodation is clean and well-equipped, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great, with easy access to the fishing village and a short distance from Amsterdam. It is a perfect place for a relaxed holiday in Holland.

  • Must go

    Must visit place in Northern Netherlands. You can go for a day trip from Amsterdam but I do recommend to spend the night over. A charming and beautiful small tourist place. Try to go in a sunny day to enjoy its best. Walk around the Marina and also around the village.

  • Great alternative to Amsterdam

    After two days in Amsterdam we moved up to the Marina park, Roompot Hotel in Volendam. Great spot by the sea, plenty of high quality eateries cheaper than Amsterdam. Hotel was modern and clean with rooms three times the size of ours in the old town in Amsterdam at two thirds of the price. Rode bikes to see traditional fishing villages and windmills. Less than half an hour by bus, great alternative to the rat race.

  • A unforgettable place

    I visited the fishing village in August. From central station you can take a direct bus there. It is so beautiful and lovely.you should go inside the village instead of walking along the river. I like the quiet streets, old church, residential gardens.many houses are old but reserved very well. Strongly recommend !

    Very nice hotel for a couple of days stay.The staff were very helpful and spoke English.The rooms were clean and tidy.There is a shop in the foyer where you can buy almost anything found in most supermarkets,which is very handy if you have forgotten anything.

  • Perfect for family weekend

    I went here with a group of more than 20 people. It located about 1km to the haven of Volendam (the heart of the village). Cute houses, spacious and well managed. There are enough things to do here. Recommended for family holiday or getaway.

    The beds aren't very comfortable, too soft. The hotel apartments have not very good noise insulation (you can hear the people next door shifting their stairs). Some noise on the Streets of bachelor parties. The apartment are spacious.

  • Big houses, clean, silent en joyful.

    Very nice and silent park. The houses are big and six people could easily live a entire weekend in one house. Volendam is at walking distance with all the cultural hotspots. You need to get use to the fact no staff (if you live in NL) will guide you during your stay. You'll receive the key at home and you will also go without seeing any staff.

    Great location for the harbour village which is good for bars restaurants and shops. Food stalls are along the front for kibbeling chips frinkandell etc. The hotel itself was very noisy at night when people came back.the room needed a good clean.cobwebs round the window smears on the walls hairs on the shower wall to name a few things.wouldnt use it again.

    Own renown beaches and scenic Harbour on sunrise or sundown. Give it all a trip will never forget on this land. Have all ur gears ready for any seasons bring along family or alone still have food activities.

  • Neat and Arrange

    Visiting Marinapark is like looking at my dream home. I am so in love with Dutch House Model so visiting Volendam is like walking in my own dream. Marinapark is one structure row of building. You may rent one of the house if you want to stay in Volendam. It has a nice view and easy access around the small town of Volendam.
