Hotel Lauri - A Lovely and Convenient Stay in Macerata

If you are in Macerata and would have one or few night of peace this Hotel is a must. Located almost in the center of the city is an awesome blend of quality and service. The room was clean and with the right temperature, minibar fully equipped and the staff has ever been available for any request. I had a great stay and you could find in it whatever you are looking for in an Hotel. Prices are on the average but the quality is just great.

I’ve stayed in this hotel few times for past 2 years and all of those visits were for different purposes, such as, family (with a 2 yo), solo, business and friends. Duration of stays vary form a day or two till one month. And I totally love this place. Interior design makes this place cozy and stylish, professional and friendly staff keeps your visit organized and well-maintained no mater what kind of requests you have, and, of course, location vise - your are in a heart of a historical and cultural Macerata. No matter what you choose - single room, family suit with kitchen - you’d be surrounded with high-quality service. P.S. Do not hesitate having breakfast at the lovely garden.

I spent 4 nights at this hotel in Macerata in a lovely room on the second floor. The room itself was very spacious and beautifully decorated. I had a huge king size bed and it was very comfy. The bathroom and the room were both spotlessly clean. The hotel itself is set in a beautiful historic building and despite it being in the old town, it is very quiet. You can walk everywhere from the hotel and there are many restaurants and cafes nearby. Breakfast was lovely with a selection of cakes, toasts, jam, fruit, yoghurts, cereals, ham and cheese, as well as freshly made Italian coffee and cappuccinos. The reception staff was very helpful and welcoming. Definitely recommend and would return if I travel back to Macerata in the future.

I have stayed at hotel Lauri both for business and holidays. And I will return, for sure. This is my preferred hotel in the historic centre. Nice breakfast, nice rooms, friendly staff, quiet, but nice atmosphere.

Excellent. Located in the historical center of Macerata in an elegant, beautiful building (traditional Italian architecture), the Hotel Lauri was quiet, luminous, spotless. A friendly welcome and an excellent breakfast. The price was right.

We stayed for one night on the third floor. The room was simply furnished but of a generous size and spotlessly clean with a decent shower room. The location is excellent with everything to see only a modest walk away. There is covered parking, at an extra charge, a short walk away. The staff are very helpful with restaurant and shopping recommendations. I thought it was very good value at 80 euros a night.

The hotel is centrally located and has a dedicated parking lot (it would be impossible to stay in this city otherwise). I stayed two nights and was given all the directions to go to the sights and the best restaurants around. I had a very comfortable classic room. Breakfast was great. Since I was alone to roll back my luggage to the parking at the end of my stay, the lady at the reception helped me with it up to parking ! Incredible service !

Very nice hotel, filled out my expectations in a historical Macerata full of palazzos, the great University of Macerata and some elegant boutiques and cafes. The room very spacious and clean. The breakfast fresh, incuding truly home made traditional cakes such as the known pasta frola in Argentina. Great espressos always. Plus the super helpful staff specially Kathia. I would highly recommend the Lauri if you happen to visit this charming small city.

We stayed at Hotel Lauri for 2 nights and were impressed with the quality of the rooms, breakfast and parking for what we felt was an extremely reasonable price. We had a superior room which was very comfortable and quiet. The hotel was close to everything in the old town and once we parked in the underground garage a couple blocks away, we were easily able to walk to all attractions and restaurants during our stay. It was an excellent place to stay in Macerata!

We spent a night in Hotel Lauri in the charming town of Macerata recently. It’s a charming little hotel, located inside the walls and a stone’s throw from all the sites of tourist interest. I’m very paranoid about ZTL zones in Italy, so while the hotel can facilitate entry to drop off bags and provide access to a nearby parking, we preferred to park ourselves at the Garibaldi Parking (3E for the full day) below the town and take the elevators up to viale Lepoardi, a short hop from the hotel. We had a classic room, very spacious and comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Perfectly located for accessing the old town and wandering its narrow streets. Sunday has a small flea market which is worth a browse when enjoying an expresso. Hotel is average, room ok, we had an attic room which had noises from the pigeons on the roof.

Arriving in the rain we found Hotel Lauri. A friendly receptionist gave us a nice room with a private Terrasse. We parked our car for 3 Euro a day thanks to tips from the same lady and decided to stay for 2 nights. Excellent choice with good breakfast and great coffee.

we paid for one night 68 euro. the hotel is in the city centre so you don't need the car. the rooms are very very nice and clean. should be a 4 stars hotel, the staff was also very gentle, helping us in explaining how it works, restaurants and so on. I highly recommand it!

Lovely small hotel in an elegant part of Macerata with very friendly staff. I wanted a double room, but could get only a single for my dates, which was a shame, as I feel no one over the age of 8 really wants to sleep in a single bed. I certainly don't, and I kept hitting the wall when I turned over. The room was simple but clean, and the shower was very good. The buffet breakfast is served in the floor below reception. You can take your breakfast on a tray out to the lovely courtyard, but there is no actual service there. It's a charming space, but for me it was too much of a faff to go to and fro to get food/coffee/tea and return my plates/dishes, so I didn't bother. I had visited Macerata for the first time a few years ago and this was my second time at the Hotel Lauri. All the good things I remembered were still there: good breakfast, helpful staff, excellent location.

Since the hotel is only 3-stars I wasn't expecting too much but have to admit they managed to surpass my expectations. Superior room was large enough with large bathroom (unfortunately only with shower and without a bath tub). Everything was very clean. Staff was friendly and cooperative. I didn't manage to go to breakfast so I can't review that. The only thing that bothered me was WiFi which was not functional. Location of the hotel is great.

This hotel had just what we needed for our 3 days of sightseeing. Good size rooms, nice breakfast room with guide books, terrace, good location, and parking (nearby lot). Parking on the street is worse in Macerata than anywhere else in The Marche. Nice staff too.

This hotel is located within the historic centre of the town. It is well-run, clean, and comfortable and well priced. We particularly enjoyed having the "panoramic" room with a great view out across the rooftops of the town. Parking is in a multi-storey car park a few hundred metres away.

We wanted a place to stay centrally as we were going to the opera. Parking a short walk away so best to drop bags off in narrow street at the hotel and then be shown the way to the garages. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Very central. Only negative was that coffee machine had broken down at breakfast but I guess that could happen anywhere.

This hotel was one of several options for a conference we held in Macerata. From talking to colleagues who stayed here as well as the other places, this hotel is apparently the best option all around. Besides a great central location and clean airy rooms, what sets it apart is the service. There was excellent warm and personalized service throughout the entire staff, specially from Marta, Alessandra and Arianna. Also, kudos to the hotel's taxi service and Daniela who drove me to and from Ancona. Comparatively, the hotel also had better amenities and breakfast. I will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel for the money. Just a couple of minute to the very centre of town, so great location and not at all noisy despite it's central location. Reserved parking is just a couple of minutes walk away in a secure and clean location. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast a bargain for 4Euros.

I've been there last year and I found it very nice and confortable: It's situated in a historic building just in the centre of the town and very close to many University departments. Rooms are clean and breakfast diversified. Pleasing atmosphere and lovely common areas! even if it snows you can go out shopping right outside!!

We were visiting the Le Marches region and stayed two nights at the Hotel Lauri. The staff were welcoming, helpful in making suggestions for places to eat and things to see. Clean, protected parking off site, be sure to reserve parking in advance. Typical breakfast of good quality, a good value for the price point.
