  • Luxurious weekend

    The experience was worth 5 stars. The staff at the reception was very helpfull. We receiveved a drink to welcome us. The suite was beautiful with a large bathroom. Overall a very good luxurious feeling.

    Beautiful hotel and amazing hospitality. We booked the suite which was beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly, warm ans welcoming. The breakfast is basic but tasty and cheap. Lots of nice restaurants in the neighborhood. Overall great experience.

  • Okay but our room was incorrect.

    Nice room and has friendly staff. I booked a twin room as I was travelling for business with a colleague but they gave us a double room and they could not fix this. The receptionist says that its happened before which was a bit disappointing to hear.

  • Noisy

    Room was clean and comfortable but the hotel is very noisy, maybe it was the elevator near by but voice carry and it was loud! I had to wait at Reception for 20 minutes when I arrived and then another 10 when I checked out.

  • Great breakfast with excellent bacon and an orange juice machine.

    Rooms are ok but we're fairly priced. Reception staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast made me rate this 5 'stars' as it was all very fresh and good and the staff was great. General 1930ies architecture of the hotel also a plus.

  • Friendly welcoming staff and good central location

    Initial issue with room type allocated.Matter quickly resolved by reception staff but would advise guests to double check room allocation if booking through Booking.com. Staff are excellent and v friendly.Breakfast choice really good and super quality.

  • make sure to book the Herman van Veen room, it is simply lovely

    nice staff, beautiful room with lots of light. nice bathroom, perfect location. And a good price! Parking close by and only 9.50 for a night. Beds were nice, all was clean and the hotel is not your everyday business hotel but has a nice grandeur kind of style that we all liked.

  • Black mold

    There is black mold in the bathroom. The ladies from the front desk were very kind. They do not controle what the chef does. But black mold in a suite that costs 175,- is just a big no go. The room is big but not as clean as it should.

  • Amazing Hotel

    Friendly and smileys staff. The hotel is close to the city center with all the shops, bars, and restaurants. Bedroom (big room) nice, modern, design, just perfect for me! In love with all old transistors/radios in the lobby

  • Fun, clean, friendly and funky

    Staff really helpful on arrival –gave me a free beer. Room is clean, modern and has everything you need. Nearby lots of local restaurants bars and cafés. There is a carpark right next door. There’s a miss Bresso coffee machine in the room-which is a nice touch. TVs have BBC one and BBC Two.
