  • Very cosy place

    The room was not big but all was there that we needed. Parking is not a problem, as the building is in anice area inside the park. Service was good, very quiet. Views are wonderful from the restaurant. Breakfast was wonderful, notch up from majority of hotels. Relaxing.

  • Lovely woods to walk in with canine friend

    Just had a drink and pre dinner snack. Ordered a small borrel snack of charcuterie with cheese nuts and olives. It was a generous portion between us filling enough to not need much dinner when we arrived home in Lent. Friendly attentive personnel and plenty of them. We sat with our dog on the terrace which overlooks a luscious green field. We felt very welcome.

  • Lovely grounds and near the woodlands

    We stayed here for one night. The hotel and grounds were very well presented. Very clean. Good good and wine selection. The woodlands surrounding the hotel were beautiful. The beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful and polite.

  • A reference for the quiet surroundings of Nijmegen.

    It was about 2 years ago that I spend there many nights. It felt immediately like coming to a well-recognised place (cannot call it home because it isn't). We had a great room with stunning views and a bad with jacuzzi. Super friendly personnel. Great surroundings to walk, ...

  • Idyllic stay in the Dutch countryside

    We stayed here during their tribute festival concert weekend and were pleased to find that everything was done professionally and extremely well. The rooms were lovely and clean, the staff were friendly and attentive and the food in the restaurant was delicious. This is a family owned place and they really put the emphasis on comfort. It's located in a very pleasant, woodsy spot near the Dutch/German border and it is a regular haunt of hiking and walking enthusiasts. This is a very classy place in a pastoral country setting.

  • Best meal for years

    Booked to stay a night thought it was easier to eat in the restaurant for €34 had a 3 course meal off the a la carte menu, asparagus a speciality around here at this time of year. The food was out of this world, the service was excellent, no English menu but the waitress translated everything for us. Couldn't fault anything. Great beer and wine menu too. The room us an attic room quite quaint but the bathroom us large and looks recently modernised. Got a good deal excellent value. Set amongst woods good parking. Friendly staff would certainly return and recommend.

  • nice authentic hotel in beautifull environment

    Authentic hotel in a beautifull environment and with a great view. Fit for family/couple getaway but also for teambuilding or as an environment for group work. Nice to have a decent breakfast on the terrace in the early morning sun, overlooking the valey.

  • Graet hotel in a tranquil setting

    Stayed in the hotel for a wedding. Ceremony in the hotel all laid out beautifully and meal excellent. Perfect venue for a small family wedding grounds beautiful and some guests enjoyed walking to the town and strolling through the woods. Bedrooms very comfortable and breakfast very good and included in price. All in all would highly recomend with very friendly staff who catered for all our needs including some special dietary requirements. Slightly chilly day so couldn't avail of the terrace for too long but view beautiful.

  • good breakfast small room

    The room is small and the beds are a bit funny, like one sleeps on a hill. But very clean. the breakfast is very good. Nice local bread. You need to cut it yiurself, but it is really worthwile. People are friendly and location is beautiful, with a view on cows running right in front of the hotel. And a. small forest next door as well.

    with 4 friends we stayed in this hotel.Nice refurbished old hotel in beautiful surroundings. excellent food and wines.i really enjoyed the 2 ways prepared wild pig.
