  • Don't book it if you want to sleep - noisy!

    They have an events hall next door, where they throw parties - the base shakes the windows and they carry on until 1am ... then clean up..nightmare. No refund and no solution offered. I asked and the place next door has a license

  • Nice friendly hotel

    Nice hotel with good services, the personnel was very friendly and helpful. We received a baby bed free of charge with even a little toy for our baby to keep. There is a restaurant next door and the location is close to several cities and activities for visitors.

  • Special atmosphere

    I have been at the De Roode Schuur for business and it has been a nice experience. Rooms are very clean and with special touch. The wood furniture combined with modern one is a very good choice. The restaurant very near has really been appreciated.

  • Lovely rooms and excellent service!

    During the weekend we stayed at Hotel De Roode Schuur. The rooms are very clean, spacious and the beds are excellent. The hotel has a wellness area, a nice restaurant, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a nice continental breakfast. If you’re in The Amersfoort area, choose this hotel to stay overnight.

  • great price/performance for a 4 star hotel !

    we had a suite, people at receiption and breakfast service were very nice and friendly. Modern suite, the badroom was not really seperated, was ok for us but surely not everyones cup of tea. Located at a high frequented road but inside it was really quiet.

  • Good location,

    I do stay almost every week for one night at the Roode Schuur, I love the Location, good Rooms, some seem to be newer, but nevertheless everything is in good condition. Even while ist located surrounded by Streets, there is no Problem with traffic noise at night.

    Nice hotel with Friendly staff who can answer your questions properly and guide you to places where you can visit. Good breakfast in a cosy space . The rooms are clean and nice with nice view. We did not eat at the restaurant but think the menu is also good and effordable

    Pluses: Nice hotel with traditional Dutch roof and wood made, very clean and cozy room. Very nice view and surrounding landscape. Minuses: there is no English hotel service information guide in a room, it is outside of Nijkerk city. You will have to take a taxi to reach a down town

  • Great Hotel for a bargain price

    A real nice and cosy hotel. It is in the details as with the wooden shoes for "do not disturb". Nice balance between modern design and local heritage. Staff is very friendly, free WiFi and free parking. Closeby restaurant serves great french cuisine with a nice fairly priced wine menu.

  • Nice stay!

    Just spend one night here but is was excellent. Dinner was lovely. I don't know about breakfast because I left very early. Beautiful spacious room and a lovely bedlight. If you have the change (and money) take one of the bigger rooms. It's a pity there is no tea or coffeemaker in the room.
