    Contents are as you would expect it if you watched his YouTube videos. I bought the book mostly as a reference since opening a book is quicker than going through his videos again. The only issue I have with the book is the weird book cover texture. It has some matte coating that makes it absorb water for some reason. I also cringe slightly when I touch the weird texture. Why couldn't it have just been a regular glossy, printed cover?

  • Very small book, pricey, poorly packaged

    I can't comment on the contents of the book, but the book itself is very small. Amazon also did not package it well at all, just threw it into a big box with other items with no protection at all for the book. Very disappointed in Amazon.

  • Uses examples to better understand key points

    I love watching Hello Future Me, the YouTube channel this book was written for. It really helps, because he uses examples from popular works of fiction to help better understand whatever topic is being mentioned. And it's not hyper focused on one key component of the writing process. It's like having an assistant, helping me see things in ways I didn't notice before. This is a must for anyone seeking to improve their writing.
