Villa Nautica in the Maldives garners mixed reviews, with many praising the stunning location, friendly staff, and overall cleanliness. Guests appreciate the quick access from Male Airport and the beautiful beaches. The all-inclusive package is often highlighted as a great value, although some guests found discrepancies in what was included. While the water villas and deluxe accommodations receive high marks for comfort and views, some standard rooms are noted to be outdated and in need of renovations. Dining experiences vary; while the buffet is generally well-received, some guests feel the food options lack variety. Nonetheless, the attentive service, especially from staff members like Elthuria and Mr. Zaki, significantly enhances the guest experience, making it a memorable stay for many visitors.

We stayed on the island from 26/10 to 04/11, the room we was allocated was 311 sunset beach villa with a private pool and I must say this room was beautiful, our cleaner Pradip Thapa is a credit to the hotel, he took time to make sure everything was perfect in the room and also took time to speak with us on personal level, a pure soul of a man.I do believe that an resort in the Indian Ocean should know how to make a perfect pina coloda which is completely blended including the ice.We did have an issue with the food temperature and think the management should really get this sorted, the only food that was hot enough was the French onion soup.Except for the issue with the food we made the most of our trip and had a thoroughly good time.
The views are very beautiful, the Staff is so nice, always helpful but not intrusive. I recommend the beach villas. We had villa 211 and I think 209-212 has a great location with a very gentle descent to the water. The sand is delicate, water is turquoise and there are very nice and interesting fish swimming around. Rooms are cleaned twice a day. Maybe the rooms are not the newest, but very clean. Shower is outside which is a very good solution, of course it is covered so no one will see you. We traveled to the island by boat for 20 minutes from airport. The hotel tries to be eco-friendly, you can move around the island on foot or by electric car, there are white bunnies on the island which you can fed. Any fees like this at the bar, are paid at the end of your stay, so you don't need to carry any cash with you. I really recommend this hotel
I was in this location between December 14 and 27, 2020, a family with 1 child of 10 years. It was a beautiful vacation.a. The staff was at the highest level: whatever request I had, the answer was always YES.First of all, I thank Samin, the one who took care to have the best rooms and the most beautiful experiences in excursions we had. Thanks also to the speedboat team.I thank Danu and her colleagues for taking care that the moments spent at the bar were wonderful. Thanks also to Faizan, who was patient with us to try the pleasure of windsurfing.Special thanks to Harry, who was Santa's leprechaun and with whose help I made a huge surprise to my little girl.b. The meals in the main restaurant, even if they were self service, were at the level of high class restaurants. The Indian menu was above all expectations. Christmas Eve was wonderful!c. The beach, sunbeds and the island in general were very well maintained: except for the artificial peninsula in the south-southeast which must be avoided.d. The rooms are clean, even if they are a bit old and need to be renovated. Cleaning is done daily, including beach towels.
The cooking class with Chef Ramakanta Pradhan was really excellent! The wholeteam made very good preparation so that we can finish 5 dishes within 2 hours. The whole teaching was practical and it was carried out in the very joyful atmosphere. I really enjoyed this cooking class and very unforgettable experience. I would like to recommend this class to any other guests who have passion to explore new cuisines. And chef Ramakanta Pradhan is the best teacher who cooking et you get more than what expect!
As the resort is very close to airport transfers were very quick and easy. The hotel itself is like any other worldwide All Inclusive resort but very big for one on a Maldive Island. Our room was clean and comfortable, a few metres walk away from the beach. Each room appeared to have 2 sun loungers and pads allocated but they used to go missing overnight. Our room was situated were boat traffic was heavy, which meant that there was a near constant throb of diesel engines and the tranquil beach sounds were lost during the day. The buffet meals in Bageecha were good but after a few days became boring. Lots of curry. We didnât try any of the a la carte restaurants as they seemed rather pricey and not well patronised. Athiri bar had a wide variety of AI drinks/cocktails. As AI guests we were offered and went on a complementary sunset fishing trip which was lovely. We never used the pool but it appeared to be too small for the size of the resort. The hotel would benefit from having an adults only and/or sports centre pool. The resort has a great dive centre and instructors. The saving grace of this hotel is its staff who are A* - so obliging, helpful, friendly and its house reef.
The island is really a paradise, the staff is very friendly and kind, always ready to try to accomplish with your request. I booked for an all inclusive package, but not everything is included at the bar, there is a few selection of cocktails which are listed in, the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner has a lot of local choises, but only few for Europeans. Space rooms but not very well cleaned, sofa and headboard smelt of dust, the fridge is very noisy and the hairdryer is very old. The idea of thin and soft pillow is different from the normal concept. For the new year party we paid an extra of 75$ for the buffet (which was quite ok) + other 69$ for the party in which they said to have unlimited drink (not drinkable apart simple coca-cola) and special night. May be my expectations were higher than their offer, but 69$ for that party with the vocalist who left guests at 12.01A.M. just after the countdown.
