There is no profile button on the latest app update and therefore cannot update any of my personal information, including touch ID login. Please fix this as your app is useless without it.
I have been receiving a DB pension for several years. Prudential Financial sold its Retirement Services division to Empower. My pension was previously administered by Prudential. Prudential had an excellent app and customer service, with a number of self service options for DB beneficiaries. Other than paying my pension on time ( which I appreciate) and to the correct checking account, Empowerâs app and website appear useless, despite assurances to be operational on 6/1/2024.
While there have been some modest improvements in the ensuing months, it lacks all of the features for DB beneficiaries that Prudential had. We are clearly an after thought. Iâm hoping I never have to use the app. Thank goodness I do not have a 401k administered by this company! It must be a nightmare.
Make it easier to do hypothetical investment modeling (like other bank apps have), make it easier to change retirement income goals on the Overview screen, and make it easier to log out.
This company is used by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts deferred compensation people. In this program Empower provides no financial counseling, recommendations, or assistance choosing intelligent funds to participate in. If you want actual service you have to enroll in expensive services. We do not get the same service as the police and fire, government officials, or other state employees deemed more valuable for the company. This is why my one star rating is fair and just.
