  • Great for Beginners

Great yarn for someone learning to crochet. Doesn’t fray, easy to take and see stitches. Wish it came in more colors.

  • Great yarn no splitting

Great yarn. Very good quality. And I’m very picky. I think it is too think for amigarumi But I use it for baskets and to make the nose and ears for my little pugs. I did make a panda with it, but I think it is still thick for such a small project.

  • Terrific for amigurumi

Love that the yarn doesn't split or fray. Easy to see individual stitches and smooth as it flows through your fingers. Easy to work with and has good, solid colors.

    • Lets Ketchup is more orange than red.

Color is not true red as ketchup would be. It's more of a orange color than red.

    • I love this yarn for crocheting

After completing for first crochet kit with the Woobles, I really want to continue using this yarn for other crochet projects. I love the amount of nylon to give more flexibility to this yarn. It's easier on your hands than 100% cotton yarn especially for extensive knitting and crocheting. I only wish they had more colors, but the color range is fine for amigurumi.

    • Tangled Nightmare

While I am excited to have gotten this product and the color & quality does seem great .... I am very upset that when I received it the middle of the bundle was such a HUGE KNOTTED MESS I could not use the yarn at all until I unwrapped the whole 219 yard worked various knots out and rewrapped it all into a ball. This was a 30minute headache I wasn't prepared for.
Additionally after spending the 30mins to untangle and roll it all back up I noticed the last yard is a second peice of string just tried to the end of the bundle.

    • Best Beginner Yarn - EVER

I, like many, decided to try my hand at Amigurumi (crochet stuff animals) with a Wooble kit. I LOVE their kits. Everything you need in a small little bag, and the best instructions, making what seemed impossible, possible!

That's where Easy Peasy yarn comes in. It's the yarn you get in the kits. It's easy to use, feels good, and is great for amigurumi. After doing most of the Wooble's catalog, I decided to branch out and try some other designs. At first I used normal yarn, but quickly found the problem with that... yarn tangles so easily and frays and it's much harder to see your stitches!

After a few "meh" attempts with regular yarn, I rushed back to Easy Peasy. One skein yields a lot of yarn. The colors are all super vibrant and there are currently (as of July of 2023) 13 different colors to choose from.

I only have two complaints. 1) If you want to roll your yarn into a ball, sometimes the starter yarn is hidden in the middle of the skein and you have to kind of dig it out. When learning about this, it was a little frustrating but with the help of another person, it was easy enough to get it all wound up. Just know, you might need a little assistance. Cats will try and tell you they'll help, but don't trust them!

      2) I just want more colors. Not a big complaint at all, I just would love more options, and maybe a few multi colored skeins.

I really love this yarn. And you will when you try it out. :)

    • Not worth it

For $15 a skein I shouldn’t be finding knots in it. It is easy to work with, but the price isn’t justified after finding this.

Update: There were 3 knots in this skein. I have a couple other unopened skeins as well. I’m hoping this was a fluke.

    • Woobles is really cute so I had to buy more yarn to make more

I can’t thank Woobles enough for teaching me how to crochet. I bought the narwhal and the dinosaur kit but wanted the pink version so I bought pink yarn. The names of the yarn are really cute as well. I wish there were more pastel colors. The only downside is one roll of yarn is really large and woobles patterns are all small. Some of the questions asked were how many woobles can one roll make. So far I’ve made two pink narwhals and one pink dinosaur and it doesn’t even seem like I’ve used up half of the pink so I would say probably 6 or more where pink is your primary color. I wish there were smaller rolls. I bought red also for the pink dinosaur but red is only the supporting color so it will be forever before I can use that up. It would be nice to have smaller rolls for all the colors. For example the yellow horn in the narwhal I really don’t need a whole giant roll.

    • Super soft doesn’t snag on dry skin

I like crocheting but i have really dry hands that snags on yarn. It gives me the creeps. This yarn is soft and perfect for amigurumi. It is also good for making soft beanie caps for chemo patients - perfect for tender skin.

    • Not Red but great yarn for beginners

Giving this color a 3 because it's not red. It's like reddish orange. Woobles has a true red that comes in the Red Ghost Pack-Man Kit (on Woobles website and fun to make) which some other people in reviews have posted side by side so you can see the difference. With that being said, this yarn is excellent to learn on. I bought several Wobble kits and all the Easy-Peasy Yarn. This yarn is also great for kids to learn on. Much easier than traditional yarn that can split or hard to see the stitch. Now that I know the stitches, I have branched out to regular yarn and learning the different types. Crocheting is my new favorite pass time.

    • Ruined for other yarn

This yarn has ruined me for other yarn. I tried to graduate from my woobles kits to “normal” twisty yarn for a larger project and aborted that effort almost immediately. I absolutely love this yarn. It is so easy to see the stitches, and you have to really abuse it to cause it to fray. It’s also machine washable and dry-able! The only negative is there was a knot in my skein where one piece ended and a new one was attached, but I’m not sure if that’s normal in other yarns too.

    • Good yarn

I like this yarn because it is the yarn that taught me how to crochet with the woobles. What I don't like about it is it comes with a pattern that you need more yarn to make.
