Doubletree Sittard is a top-notch hotel in Europe with excellent service, clean rooms, and a convenient location. The staff, including Joany, Suze, Iris, and the evening shift team, provide exceptional service with a smile. The hotel is housed in a beautifully renovated historical school building, offering nice rooms and a gorgeous breakfast. While the hotel is lacking in some areas, such as bar service and amenities, it still provides a comfortable stay. Overall, it is a recommended choice for business travelers.

  • Great stay!

    We had a good time at the hotel. Very nice historical building with beautiful arches. The bed was wonderful with fluffy pillows. The restaurant was tasty. The front desk staff, especially Freek, is always welcoming with a big smile and very helpful. Thank you!

  • Service does not live up to the brand

    The Double tree is a nice enough hotel but service is less than acceptable. The bar staff go missing continuously for some unknown reason. For a premium price you are getting mediocre service. If you are in search of pampering then maybe this is not for you.

    Pity that the circumstances and facilities don't keep pace with the monumental status of the building. Smells, cleanliness, amenities, accuracy, communication, breakfast all qualify for critical review and improvement.

  • Good and comfortable

    Really liked the design, more like a boutique-hotel instead of a regular Doubletree. Thank you for the upgrade because of the HHonors status. The room was spotless clean and spacious. Breakfast offering seemed a bit limited however above average and above expected for Doubletree. Comfortable stay and would recommend.

  • Hotel with average facility

    This is not a luxury hotel, but a hotel with most the facility you need. Queen size room was fine for a sleep of 2 persons. Breakfast was really good. Parking instructions were unclear and there was no temporary parking infront of the hotel.

  • Lovely rooms and staff

    Really interesting building , lovely friendly staff and well appointed clean rooms. Stayed for business for 2 nights and had no problem with any of the amenities or the room. I’d love to come back with more time.

    warm welcome in a very beautiful monumental building. the stay was a bit short but a wonderful hospitality and a pity that I had an empty fridge again for breakfast I was a bit early but the coffee and slice of cheese was delicious thanks for the hospitality

  • No parking space available, parking fee not reimbursed

    We paid for a parking space at the hotel's parking area but there was no space available. We were then sent to the parking of the headquarter and were told that the fee would be reimbursed. Which did not happen. I politely asked the hotel multiple times if they could check, no answer whatsoever. No reaction at all from a hotel in this price category is a disgrace.

  • Very nice hotel

    A new hotel in Sittard, easy to reach, enough parking. Very airy rooms, spacious and very comfortable beds. Helpfull and friendly staff. Great to see a Hilton affiliated brand in Sittard. I will make use of it again. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

  • Terrific hotel !

    Great stay….clean hotel ….very good food…..very nice people …great follow up ….sorry I dont have time to write a three pages review but stay over 150 nights a year in a hotel and think they do a OUTSTANDING job ! Great parking too !
