I really love this app. I have been trying to make journaling a habit for years, but I always ended up forgetting. Daylio makes it extremely easy, because even on the days you don't feel like writing you can still keep the streak going in 1 min. Looking back, it amazes me all the data I've gathered about my days, my moods, the activities that make me happy and the ones who don't + memories bc of the pics. Premium is 100% worth it. I just wish they could add the option to store video!
Seems the free version only allows for one goal. *ONE GOAL* One goal doesn’t need an app, and the only way to test it in any useful way is to accept the 7-day *free* trial, after which they start billing. I don’t know about most people, but I need more than 7 days to assess if something is having an impact on my habits. Pity, because it looks interesting, but the flagrant monetization shows where their priorities are. Not inclined to trust them with automatic billing. No thank you.
I've been using the free version for around 9 months and it's amazing how many things are available. I especially love that the free version doesn't put any upper limit on the number of entries, activities, etc. that can be added (which some apps often do). Some of the features that I enjoy include memories, weekly/monthly reviews, stats, adding pics to entries... One small feature request: it would be nice if we could also add short videos to entries 🙂
I love this app. The fact that my entries aren't linked to any database and remain private really makes me feel better. All the customization and the reasonably low price is great and makes it manageable to keep. I wish we could add more than 3 photos, maybe like 5, but that's a mild complaint. 5/5 Really great and easy to use and customize. ♡♡♡
The app is very good at what it sets out to do. I like how deeply customizable it is (especially if you're not paying for it, you can still do a lot with it), and I find it very satisfying to summarize my day with the brain dump before bed However, it's really frustrating when I do a log of yesterday and then, tomorrow, get told I lost my streak because the app didn't save my log of yesterday. That is happening so frequently recently, and I hate it. I know I logged it, why's it not being saved?
The free version is great, but the paid version is absolutely worth it if you want to really track and use all the digital journal features. I've used a few different apps, and this is by FAR my favorite. Very customizable, visually pleasing, easy to use, you can make it as in-depth or simple as you'd like. I love the weekly reports and charts. The paid version also tracks which habits/activities affect your moods in what ways, which a feature I find very useful. Overall, an awesome journal app.
it's a super great app. works well and allows you great control over your personal goals, tracking feelings, and also is one of the only journal apps I've found that 1: locks and 2: allows you to hold, underline and italicize your text. been looking for an app that allows that and this is the one. Well done. that being said there is no option to buy a lifetime subscription which I found on other journal apps. there is a subscription for the premium version which is reoccurring. bummer there.
I so love this app. Been using it for like 4 years now and it's been good to me so far. all that's missing rn for me is a feature to record audio since sometimes I'm more of in the mood to speak than to write. i dont even know if that's possible but that is all that seems to be missing for me. kudos to the makers! Edit: OMG TYSM FOR ADDING THE VOICE MEMO FEATURE I AM SO SO HAPPY! YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!
Because of a bug I've lost a streak of 1453 daily entries. This happened 6 months ago and even though I contacted Daylio and provided all info and pics, they didn't fix it yet. So recently I reached out again to follow up and sadly I received a sassy reply saying that my problem is not a priority. If I only knew that I'd be treated this way I'd never have signed up for the premium subscription. Now I'm officially giving up on Daylio and trying different diary apps. I don't recommend this app.
I really love this app. I have adhd and I have a really hard time keeping a journal, but I wanted to track my chronic pain. I love how you can keep it simple or put in more detail. One thing I'd like is being able to mark activities as good or bad - mood influence chart is good, but eg. if I was in a good mood despite some pain it feels weird to have that pain for 'you're often in a good mood with this' or like a 12 day streak in green for something bad, but I can see that being tricky to add
It's so customizable and user friendly & checks all the boxes of the things that I like to document. I can track any habit i can think of.. from tracking mood, what I eat and my exercise.. the options are endless. There's a section you can note whatever you want to note and they have templates you can use. I use the "gratitude" template the most. You also can attach photos to the days. the info is compiled and it correlates the habit with your moods. This app is the best journal I've ever owned.
It has been really helpful to see what habits or things during the day make my day worse. It is also really helpful to be able to see the graph and see patterns as well as how things like "my best week day" change over time. I would recommend this app for anyone even if you don't think you need it, it will still be very beneficial. It is a simple way to make improvements to your day to day life or just keep track of your mood. 5/5 would recommend!
This has been a very effective tool for me to track my moods and the things that have an effect on mood. I used to use paper mood journals but they were limited, took up a substantial amount of space, and lacked the statistical evidence associated with my mood. I like how I can add my own moods and activities and set up achievable goals for myself. The little achievement stickers are an extra win to boost my confidence and remind me when I'm doing well, even if it just means riding out the wave.
I like it as an app but I struggle to make sense how to use it best for myself. I'm a naturally scattered individual and I rarely remember to use this in the moment and don't want to write a long narrative. Then other times I want to write a lot but I'd rather write it on a physical keyboard but this app doesn't support sync between devices easily so I can't really. Also I feel like theres a lot that could be done with the categories and stuff but I have none due to a blank slate effect.
i bought daylio years ago and have been using it to track my health symptoms rather than my mood alone. my only complaint is I'm very sad to see that Daylio has gone to subscription plans. i bought it for a one time payment on my iPad. i wanted to move it to my phone because that's easier to journal on and now i own a nice phone i can do that with-- nope! they demand a fee to use the full service of the app. and if you don't upgrade, expect to keep getting hit with random ads for upgrading.
Want to keep a diary but don't feel like writing anything? I like that you can set it to prompt you, once a day, and you can do as little as pick which smiley face (or whatever mood scale you use). if feeling more ambitious, on any day you choose you can add photos and type entries to go along w your mood to remind you why you felt that way. I like looking over the month summary and when it shows me picture memories. Simple, sweet, non-intrusive. Has more features too.
I love this app. I removed one star because of one major flaw: if I add my daily log without following the notification, it's not saved. The next day it will show I missed a day in my streak. I don't like redoing the entry to save the streak. I should be able to enter any time and have it save, not just if I do it at my 7pm notification.
I'm nerodivergant plus a trauma surviver and this app has already proven to be amazingly helpful in capturing the data I need to work with and regulate my emotions. The ability to set reminders to log my moods is a life-saver. I don't have to try and cram another thing to remember into my day. The entry process can be quick and simple or it can be in-depth and self-reflective depending on my needs and the app is nearly completely customizable which makes it super flexible/versatile! I love it!
Great app! Useful for tracking moods and recognizing patterns! I've recommended it to family members who've used it to track other things like chronic pain to see which treatments were helping and which triggers made them feel worse. Super simple user interface and useful data.
I absolutely love this app! I've always struggled with keeping a journal because it's just too much work. But this is so easy, just press a few buttons and you record your day pretty accurately. The stats are also extremely detailed and very good for helping me decide what changes I should make in my life. It's also extremely customizable One suggestion, I would love to have the ability to add sliders to some activities. For example, a slider that allows me to select how intense a workout was
Pretty Great app overall. I've been using it for a couple of years without the premium. It's been great for tracking down my daily activities and journal writing. I love that you can add pictures and track down certain days based on specific activities and other useful features along those lines. I do wish, however, that there would be more mental health focused aspects.
The best app for journaling! I absolutely love it. This is the only journal that I could keep for around a year now, while with others, I would stop journaling after about a week. I especially love how you can put entries for any date you wish, so when you are late with entries, you could never lose your strike and stay motivated. Another distinguishing feature is that it allows you to back up all your entries and even export them to an Excel file (for free verson). You will never lose entries
A MUST HAVE!! ThIs is the best journal, mood, and habit tracker app I've found! I've tried so many other apps before and didn't like having to switch between different ones. Daylio has all the features you need! What I love most is the being able to quickly document events as they happen as well as my mood and activity at the time. No longer do I need to write a long journal and struggle to remember details at the end of the day. The customization options and stats are incredible!!!
I think this app is amazing because it tracks my daily mood and it is surprisingly easy to use. I like how they have different options and sorted out into different categories when you fill out each day which makes it easier for us to fill. You can also put in pictures / photos which is really cute and adds more memories to each day. Really recommended app so far !!
This app has really helped me to keep my mood in check! I've really had a hard time keeping up with my mental stuff and this helps to break it down into manageable goals. Even if the goals seem basic like showering it still gives praise and makes it seem like a big deal (which to some people like me, it is a big deal). It has a lovely medal system that makes you feel good about keeping up entries and sticking with your goals. I love it!
Love this app! I've been using it for over 5 years. The update to include audio just made this an absolutely incredible app. It has everything mood tracker, journal, templates (including your own), reports, audio journaling, scheduled backups, reminders. I would love to be able to include more photos in one entry. I think the current limit is 3. Also would love more than one audio clip per entry. Overall fantastic app, works great and is very flexible for my needs!
Officially found my favourite daily journal. Love that it lets you choose designs first before locking the rest behind a pay wall, giving the users a chance to pick something they enjoy. You can add and edit your own categories and activities into it. It's not overwhelming at all, so you can write as much or as little as you want. It does have achievements to encourage you to journal, which I would love to turn off since it's a silent looming pressure. Other than that, very good journal.
Really enjoying this app so far, no bugs or issues at all. I really like the simplicity and easy interface. Bought the premium version when it was discounted and I'm really glad I did. I was close to paying for 2 other apps and instead was able to get this one for all the other needs combined (habit tracking and daily journaling). Many thanks to the developers, you did a fantastic job!
Have been using this app for several months now and I love it. The only issue is that if you get a new phone that isnt the same brand as your old one, syncing your files will not be possible. I switched from an iphone to an android and was very disappointed to lose 4 months of progress. Would like a better backing up format. Otherwise, this app is very helpful for keeping track of my moods and I would readily recommend it to anyone.
really good app, used it for ages but got out of the habit of it so trying to get back into it again.. even tho you can set your own reminder times the reminders do kinda annoy me because I'm always in the middle of doing stuff on my phone. I would also like to be able to select multiple moods at one time because I'm an emotionally complex person, but don't know how practical that would be either. really good app that tracks and analyses your moods and activities really well and correlates the 2

The Flag Quiz is a fun and educational app for learning about flags, capitals, and currencies. Users can play single player or multiplayer games and compete with friends or random opponents. While the app is generally well-liked, some users have reported bugs and missing flags. Some have also requested additional features, such as a border game mode and the option to see country names in addition to flags. Despite these issues, the app is praised for its user-friendly interface and useful flashcard-style format.
