Had diner with my partner. Lousy quality tournedos and not prepared (medium rare) as I wish, chips were not served together with main course. Had to send my platter back so we had diner separately. Lack of understanding what service or guest friendliness means.
Fabulous rooms, albeit cosy. We stayed at this hotel for one night whilst on a cycling holiday in the Netherlands. It was the perfect end to our holiday. Had dinner and breakfast; great with lovely friendly staff.
Stayed one night while on cycling tour. Beautiful clean and comfortable room, staff very friendly and helpful. Storage for bikes provided with prior notice. Food excellent and well presented. Continental breakfast tasty. Would thoroughly recommend.
I just stopped here for a koffee in between my solo visit to Edam. A wonderful setting to sit and take in the local color. Very happy. Upon entering inside I realized this was a first class restaurant as well would like to have more time.
We were at the Damhotel on a sunday afternoon with our parents (80+). We took the high tea. The quality of the food was very good and so was the service. Very nice atmosphere as well. All in all a very pleasant afternoon.
Nice - comfortable / cosy I really recommend more for couple and friends than business. Well located in the city center - charming - nice food but like most of Dutch restaurant service is super long. So patience and philosophy to make a successful dinner
We had lunch here and it was fantastic. Great service and great food but most importantly a drop dead gorgeous interior. Fabulous paintings and ambiance. Highly recommend a day trip to this town and stop in here for lunch.
The atmosphere is nice. Looking at the "nachtwacht" painting of Rembrandt you can Order the club sandwich it is the best of the world. We enjoyed the food and the place so we can recommend it for after a walk thru the beautiful old city of Edam. Enjoy
I only stopped here for one night, arriving late - but the hotel is really nice. A great bar area and restaurant....rooms are small but have character and are classy decorated. We ate in the restaurant. Prices are reasonable and food was beautiful.
unfiortunately it was a business trip... Hotel is great, deco, bar, food, location right in the middle of town. absolutely gorgeous. no price info as I was invited. but would definitely come back for a week end of exploring 40min away from Amsterdam. recommend

This hotel in Doorwerth, Netherlands, offers beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, and a variety of amenities such as indoor and outdoor pools. The rooms may be outdated and in need of renovations, but the overall experience is pleasant. With its convenient location and competitive pricing, this Fletcher hotel is a good choice for a road trip or a visit to the Airborne Museum.
