  • Fantastic Hotel

    This is our second stay at this hotel. We love the size of the room with many plugs for charging our electronic devices. The bathroom was modern with shelves for toiletries to stand on. The bed was very comfy. Storage for our bicycles was in the car garage, which there is plenty of space with easy access to check in area. Breakfast was the usual buffet with lots of options.

    fantastic weekend at apollo hotel with family;super girls at the reception,verry gently and nice contact;excelent rooms,nice bat and restaurant,perfect breakfast!!fine for rent a bicycle and crossing the river 3,50 euro(retour)to dordrecht oldest city from holland,nice sportaccomodation aoutside hote,;big swimmingpool !

  • Bike tour Apollo Hotel Papendrecht

    A clean, pleasant hotel in a small city that lies on the outskirts of a larger town (Dordrecht.) As in most of the Netherlands, dinner reservations at the hotel restaurant are required; if you arrive at an uncertain time and cannot wait, there are fast food options nearby, such as Indo-Chinese fast food. The bar is very fine for a small hotel, with five choices of draft beer (Dutch and Belgian), and I was provided with a generous container of "noten" (salty snacks.) Mechanic on staff brought out his toolbox to help me with a minor bicycle repair.

    The location is good , rooms are clean and comfort The staff are friendly and helpful , breakfast is good with many choices , over all experience was enjoyable with no issues . I stayed before at Christmas time and same experience

    Lillian and the staff were very helpful in finding an alternative room when the air conditioning was not functioning properly in the room we had been allocated as the temperature outside was in the high 30s ! Looking forward to breakfast and dinner at the hotel also.

    The Apollo is in a great location for certain local businesses hence the reason for using this hotel. The reception staff are super helpful and friendly and the bar and restaurant staff go out of their way to be friendly and as i am usually travelling alone, they make an extra effort to have a chat and make me feel welcome. I do find the air conditioning a bit annoying as you cannot control it or turn it off. I found the room to be rather chilly and the air con is noisy and wasteful when you dont need it to be switched on.

    Was there for work. The hotel was very nice with a very good selection for breakfast. Well served from the train station (bus stops right in front) Would be very happy to again if business calls in Papendrecht

  • Great value

    Enjoyed our stay in the Apollo hotel, very friendly staff. Great value for the price you pay. Loved the swimming pool outside and inside, also possible to use the gym for free. Secured parking garage available for $6 euro a day.

  • Clean and neat Hotel

    Standard Room Bedding configuration only comes with Single Bed. Not quite comfortable for long stay. For long stay guests, please opt for club rooms. Hotel should upgrade all beds to double size. Very well located to 3 major supermarkets.

  • Visit to Rotterdam via Papendrecht

    The hotel was easy to find. Friendly Staff. Room was very good. Breakfast was ok. Self-Service;but the lady working there spent most of her time chatting with a guest and the wife. She was not readily available for questions to be asked. At least somebody could be there pressing the fresh orange juice for the clients. The vegetables were just put whole there and the client has to do the cutting himself/herself. I dont find that acceptable.
