The Gran Estanplaza Berrini is highly praised for its comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast with live piano music, and convenient location in Sao Paulo. The staff is professional and accommodating, and the hotel offers a classic and clean infrastructure. However, some guests feel that the rooms need an update and that the hotel falls short of its five-star status.

I love this hotel: the staff is kind, the breakfast is amazing and the piano just makes the whole experience unique. It is always my first option in São Paulo. Additionally, rooms are spacious and spotless while location is superb. I've been here many times and I look forward to come back soon. Perfect.
Gran Estanplaza Bernini sits along Rua Arizona where the big-chain hotels like Hilton and Sheraton also sit. The location is good since it's not inside the city so city rush hour is not an issue. However, there's very little to see if you decide to walk; if you're the type who would like to walk to nearby restaurants, supermarkets and other tourist places, you would be better off looking for accommodation along Paulista Avenue. The lobby isn't large but still very impressive, with old world elegance and charm. The same is true, even much more so, for their breakfast dining location, a very large, very bright hall with 100% skylights, iron grille staircases, and table spread out far from each other. The same theme is carried over to the bedroom with narrow but serviceable balconies. There's a large TV, though we couldn't find any English news program - everything seemed to be in Portuguese! There's a nice desk with soft functional ergo chair, a clear-door ref, a safe, and lamps on the four sides of the room. Service in the breakfast hall was great - Tiago kept pouring us coffee, Leonardo was a marvelous pianist, and according to my wife, the food choice was excellent. The bell service was excellent too. What could be improved? We wished there was an electrical outlet near the desk; we had to stretch our cable taut to make it to the wall socket. We wished there were face towels - they only had bath and hand towels. There was no body wash in the toilet kit. Also, housekeeping left only one hand towel on the second day. The cabinets and woodwork isn't very high quality. And the blackout curtains didn't really black out. Still, Gran Estanplaza is a very nice hotel.…
My wife and I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights to attend a conference in a nearby convention center. The location was very convenient and the hotel was comfortable and classy. The staff were professional and accommodating. The hotel is a little worn around the edges and could use a refresh.
The best breakfast! It was so good, delicious food and great experience with Leonardo playing the piano, it definitely made my day! The hotel is very comfortable and people that work there is very kind and helpful, the location is very good, you are near to the business area, there are shopping malls and restaurants as well.
From all the hotels I have ever stayed in Brazil this the Gran Estamplaza is by far the best one. The excellency of the staff, the admirable beauty of the infrastructure, all the services offered, and then breathtaking tall glass ceiling ballroom style restaurant, accompanied by the most delightful live piano presentation (graciously delivered by leonardo Ramos pianist) are some of the things that make the experience unique and memorable. Impossible not to fall in love with this hotel. It’s sophisticated, comfortable, stunningly beautiful, gastronomically inclined fitting to most dietitian restrictions… Can’t wait to return next week. For now on when I go to SP I am only staying there. 😍
Thank you Patricia and the entire staff at Estanplaza Berrini avenue Arizona. The entire staff deserves the recognition for providing you exceptional service. P.S. Breakfast and lunch Delish!!! P.S.S. While your staying at the hotel go to Solomon’s Temple what an experience We will return Gracias….Alfonso Martinez
My home away from home. I never get tired of admiring and staying at the Gran Estanplaza Berrini. The breakfast with Leo at the piano and Natanael at the service is amazing - a show within the show. Special Kudos to Leo who even played Sting’s song knowing that I’m a fan. The service is outstanding. The rooms always clean and surprisingly spacious. Check-in staff kind and attentive. The atmosphere’s always amazing. Certainly best value in town. Look no further. Stay at the Gran Estanplaza Berrini.
We simply loved to have a calm breakfast with the pianist Leonardo. What a surprise and what a great idea for the guests In this busy area of Sao Paulo. Hotel Grand Estanplaza is such a great choice. Amazing 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
comfortable room but tv needs to be upgraded. breakfast was in a very nice environment with see through ceilings and they helped me with a delicious vegetable tapioca to meet my vegeterian dietary needs. the front desk was very helpful to give me my room back for an hour even after I had checked out. overall great hotel but pls change the TV and u need to have English programming too on tv.
Nice place, close to good restaurants. We particularly liked very much the Olivardo restaurant with typical Portugal cosine. Very nice to have the breakfast listing to pianist Leo. He was very nice to play “Fly me to the moon”….
And after a while, here again to this superb, professional run, super clean property. Nice location, nice rooms, superb staff which shows how catering should be done. It continues my preferred hotel in São Paulo and my first choice. This time, due the pandemic, we noticed quality at the breakfast was lower (croissant and bread were “gummy”, no coconut water etc.) but these are difficult times for everybody and it is expected they will come back at the usual standard when the pandemic is over. Highly recommended
We are staying at Están Plaza In São Paulo and had the pleasure of waking up each morning (to the best wait staff!!!) and the beautiful sight and sound of Leonardo elegantly playing the piano live. I have stayed in Too many hotels but this was a unique experience that really changed the whole mood. Every morning here is a gift! We talked to Leonardo after breakfast and are going to see him play at night too!!
I have not had the best experience with hotels in Sao Paulo. The Gran Estanplaza was recommended. I loved it. It is not your stereotypical Western hotel. Think of European City hotel slightly older and smaller but very comfortable rooms. The staff at the EstanPlaza are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast and room service are good and the internet works well. Not sure I agree with comments about the room service charges as I paid nothing like that.
Most horrific room service xperience. A Cesar Salad from hell charged 50 dollars that would have my dog yelp of disgust. Pool stands for a large bathtub and elevators are squeaking. Its not a bad place per se but just a place to sleep for a night since its not that far from the airport
This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in, and I travel all over the world. The room was beautiful, but the staff was what really set it apart, from Natalia, the staff and the pianist in the breakfast room (with a terrific buffet), the the staff at the front desk — everyone went out of their way to ensure that we were not only welcomed, but made to feel very, very special. A truly remarkable experience. I would go back in a heartbeat!
The hotel is located next toSao Paulo's United Nations business center, and the World Trade Center. In a distance of less than 4km there are 3 shopping centers. It is a hotel with traditionally elegant decor but of good quality, very clean and pleasant. For food, I definitely recommend the hotel restaurant. Everything I tried was delicious, and abundant. The best thing about this hotel is the friendliness of the service. People like Vincent of the remaining and room service make the stay in this hotel unforgettable. It also has unforgettable details such as the live pianist who accompanies at breakfast time. Outside the hotel there are always hotels available and most of the time there is access to the Grin and Lime scooters. I think some hotel rooms may be unsafe for children,…
The breakfast is the highlight as many others have said. The food and service was excellent. The location seems very good for business, but less so for walking around as a leisure tourist. English was spoken to some extent, so without Portuguese you can be very happy. A nice combination between a local hotel and a chain. I stayed on business so I didn't pay the rate, but my guess is that you get 80% of something like the Sheraton, Hyatt or Hilton but for 50% of the price.
Stayed here for a week, very comfortable and clean rooms and bathrooms. Courteous staff at the disposal to meet every needs of the guests. Elaborate spread of Breakfast buffet, covering continental and local cuisine. Plenty of options for food around, if you wish. Walk able to departmental store.
I am currently staying at this hotel and whilst I think the staff are excellent, the location is great and the standards of cleanliness and food are also outstanding I do think the rooms need an update. My room has only one plug that I can use to charge my laptop, ipad and phone etc, the TV is small by modern standards and the lack of lighting options is also notable. The furniture is also dated and needs to be brought into a more contemporary standard. I also do not have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. In short its a great hotel but just needs a little bit of time investing to make it more contemporary.
I spent 4 nights in this hotel with my wife and two children of 12 and 8 years old. The hotel is very nice and it is located in a street with no much traffic. We had a large and very comfortable suite on the 16 floor. The space was nicely decorated and all the rooms were very clean. The service of the hotel is excellent, all the staff was very helpful and kind. When we arrived there were two cups full of chocolates and candies with the names of our two children. The thing we all liked the best was the breakfast, not only for the quality of food (with a good variety of savoury and sweet products), but because of the music played by the pianist, Leo. He had a terrific repertoire, including Cold Play and Imagine Dragons. Only small critique is the food in the restaurant. We find…
Location - perfect Staff - professional and kind from the first second you enter in the property. Congrats to the team for the great work. Infrastructure - classic, clean and impressive. Everything works, everything in place, everything clean. Room - spacious and with nice furniture, good bathroom, well cleaned. Breakfast - what a spectacular thing: a show in the show. I won’t spoil anyone but this is something unique. Value - great because of the high quality of service and features described above. What to say that has not been said yet? This is a very well run hotel that properties around the world should study and imitate as a case of success. All in all, Highly recommended and I will stay again, and again, and again....
I was in Sao Paulo for a conference and the organisers hosted the meeting here. The Gran Estanplaza Berrini is a large five star modern hotel. My room was very comfortable and the decor very pleasant. All the staff were very attentive and efficient. The breakfast buffet is served in a large airy bright room and the food is excellent. You even get a live pianist serenading you for breakfast. The meeting rooms were well appointed and equipped and the breaktime coffee and snacks were excellent. As a business hotel, this is highly recommended. In fact if I were visiting Sao Paulo for vacation, this hotel would be on my shortlist too. Recommended
The Hotel is insanely good, charmy!! I would like to thank for the lovely live piano music with Leo. I've never seen such an Ideia even in Europe. I got an amazing little present from the reception (Andre , Patricia and Alex) cause we went to the McCartney's concert at the time and they wanted me to remember it. They gave some Beatle's lyrics and an amazing magazine. The localisation is in a commercial zone and near to the underground . Thank you indeed !
The Hotel is in a great location between Sheraton and Hilton right next to the Shopping Nacoes Unidas. A block to the Buses that goes everywhere. The breakfast was a great and unique experience that make us very comfortable and feeling warm with the Piano Player Leo Ramos that plays with the heart every morning that was unforgettable. Everything was taking care of. Only thing I will suggests is to have more outlets in the room especially by the desk.
A lovely hotel near to work with friendly staff and a great breakfast made even better by a live piano player every morning. The rooms are clean and spacious with great views. I always make a beeline for this hotel when I am on business in Sao Paulo
The room on the 7th floor was fine at the corner to Sheraton hotel. The breakfast had a great varity of fruits, fresh juices, bred ... Once i had a power breakdown, when i arrived early in the room, soi cant say if this happens more often. Thefitness srudiois equippent with a lot of equipment, but the pool was covered by foam, not really to get in it, therfire there is -1 star! I would choose this hotel immidiatly again.
This was a nice upscale hotel with spacious rooms and a shower that had a functional Port hole. The air conditioning system in the room worked well but I did not like that all the power went out in the room every time you remove your room key from the master in-room panel. They were only one electrical outlet in the room which made it hard to charge cell phones, iPads, laptop, etc. The staff was very attentive and the restaurant had a nice breakfast every morning.
While entering, my first feeling was ‘what an old fashioned place’. But that turned quickly enough... Really friendly and professional service by the complete staff, there was even a welcome letter in the room (call it fake, naive, but I do appreciate this kind of attentions). Very spacy and well equiped rooms, also here a lot of attention to the smallest details. Fantastic breakfast with wide choice in a very luminous place. The live piano music is a little over the top, such thing is not really necessary for me. Not much to do in this (financial) district, but it looks fairly safe to walk around. Certainly during the day. In any case, this was a nice experience and I woud come back whenever I visit Sao Paulo again.
Like many past reviewers, I believe this hotel needs a major touch up. Staying there was o.k, in general - bed was comfortable, hot water and all, lovely breakfast ambiance (however dull selection if you stay there for more than 2 nights) - it's really a 3 stars hotel which aspires to be more than that. Here's an odd story: I arrived in the evening after a long flight and went directly to bed. The room was a little chilly (winter in Sao Paulo), so I turned up the heat and crushed. Woke up at 3:15 a.m., the room was very cold, got an extra blanket, turned the heating to maximum and tried to sleep. It was cold and it was a real problem. The next morning I had meetings, so I brought it up to reception only in the afternoon. The manager went up to my 5th floor room room with me,…
I stayed in this hotel for an entire business week (Aug 19-24) and can say, that my experience was mostly good. The room was spacious and the breakfast had a good selection of food and juices. One thing I had never experienced in my >25 years of business travel was a complete power outage in the hotel rooms. When I went to the reception and asked for estimated time of resolution, the only answer I got was "we are working on it". The outage took > 3 hours, and included all facilities in the room (incluing light, internet access, etc.). One would expect, that such hotel would have a backup system / generator for covering of such cases - but unfortunately this wasn't the case. Also I would expect of such a hotel, that the management would e.g. write a letter to the guests…

Hangawi is a unique Korean vegan restaurant in NYC that offers exquisite food, attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere. The menu features a variety of delicious dishes, including spicy dumplings, combination pancakes, tofu with broccoli, and avocado stone rice. The restaurant is known for its traditional Korean interior and the requirement to remove shoes before dining. Despite being a bit pricey, Hangawi is highly recommended for a special occasion or a vegan dining experience.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Miami/Brickell-Downtown is a great hotel with a beautiful view from the rooms, comfortable accommodations, friendly and helpful staff, and a great location close to restaurants, shops, and public transportation. The hotel offers free breakfast and shuttle service to the nearby port for cruise passengers. Some guests had issues with cancellations and refunds, but overall, the reviews are positive and recommend the hotel for anyone visiting Miami.
