The Best Western Stadskanaal hotel in the centre of town offers clean rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast is good and the hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shops. However, some guests found the rooms small and outdated, with limited amenities. The elevator is slow and the hotel lacks air conditioning. Overall, it is a decent option for a short stay in Stadskanaal.

Definitely a top worst hotel, at the entrance it stinks of musty! , benefit of the doubt, you go upstairs to inspect the room, you fall behind because of the smell of an elderly smokehouse!! room dates from the 1930s, in short VERY BAD!
Small hotel. Rooms are very small but clean but there is no minibar and no soap in the bathroom The central stairwell is very dirty. Breakfast is ok but not extensive. The crew is friendly. The breakfast room is very small.
Located in the centre of Stadskanaal near restaurants/bars Staff pleasant and professional, bedroom was spacious & clean and serviced daily. Restaurant and bar were very pleasant offering a range of dishes in the evening. Food quality was excellent. Breakfast was also good in my opinion - coffee, juices, croissants, various breads, fruit, meats and cheeses. They also had some eggs and bacon as hot items for those that wanted this. Overall, great location, good service, good price - a very pleasant stay will return again I am sure.
a nice , small and cosy city hotel directly in the town proper. Parking areas are enough, Gastronomies and shopping area are all on a walking distance. The staffs are friendly., the breakfast was good.
Nice hotel and friendly staff. Room was fine and breakfast was good. Very cosy yet spacious room with bath and balcony. Wel situated in the center of the city. The coffea isn't great but that's the only thing.
Stayed for one night as was working nearby. Hotel located in the centre of town, theatre & shops close by. Room was simple, but clean and comfortable. Pleasant little balcony. Breakfast was decent and included with the room rate - good choice on a buffet basis. Served in the same restaurant we used the night before for dinner, which was excellent. Staff throughout the hotel & restaurant were professional throughout the stay, and the hotel offered excellent value for money.
Being used to North American Best Western hotels, we decided to book this hotel when we had to make a trip to Stadskanaal. This hotel was one BIG disappointment. Weird entrance, not so clean hallways, small room ( and a little smelly ) and I can't remember the last time I had seen a tube TV. When we asked for a second key ( which we didn't think was weird to ask for ), they gave us a hard time but finally dug one out of a little basket full of keys. Oh, and did I mention the cook checked us in? Anyhow, once but never again!
Got a lovely welcome, found all staff friendly. Happy enough with the room(s), two short stays. Breakfast okay but nothing special. Standard of other food, dinner etc. much better, quite popular with the locals. Stadskannal not touristy but is a nice place to stay if travelling through Holland but hotel is essentially for business. Agree with yorkiebar...slowest lift ever. That would be the only negative. Good value, decent rooms, all round pleasant hotel.
A nine storey building with a great location in the centre of a quiet town, this hotel is close to plenty of restaurants and shops. If, however, you decide not to go out to any of these restaurants, then the in house restaurant is pretty good. The stand-out feature of this hotel is the staff, who are friendly, accommodating, and really know how to make you feel at home. I stayed here for 3 weeks whilst working nearby and I would stay here again in the future if I was back in the area, which really says it all.
We used this hotel as it was at a convenient point on our journey. It was quite nice. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable. However it was quite difficult to find and it took a couple of attempts to finally reach the (ample) parking adjacent to the hotel. (Some roads closed) Evening meal was expensive so we went elsewhere (Pizzeria Vittoria) Breakfast was satisfactory but limited on the jam front - only plum jam! Don't miss Bourtange fortified village which is close by.

Sheraton Hotel Lobby Bar in Saigon offers delicious food, great service, and a warm atmosphere. The staff, including Anh Tran, Loc, Truc, Nghi, and Miss Quỳnh, are friendly and attentive. The menu includes a variety of dishes and beverages, and the cakes and tea are particularly tasty. The lounge is a perfect spot for business meetings or relaxing with friends. Overall, it is a highly recommended place to visit in Saigon.
