  • wonderful for grilling meat

    I've never used a grill pan but have always wanted one. This cast iron grill pan is very nice and durable. It has great heat distribution and cooks red meat and chicken very nicely. It is quiet heavy but all cast iron pans are. This is great for grilling meat.

  • Thin Cast Iron

    This is the lightest and thinnest “cast iron” pan I’ve ever used. It’s a decent pan but I don’t think it’s truly cast iron or as sturdy as that. The grill insert is kind of a pain to clean when used. Make sure this is well seasoned beforehand to help cut down on anything sticking to it.

    How wrong can you go with a cast iron skillet?

    Hardly ever!

    It's sturdy, the grill addition is great for those charred marks you love on steaks, burgers etc.

    It's like seasoning any other cast iron skillet so if you're a cooker and know that process - then you know that once it is complete it makes the cooking even better. Easy to clean, easy storage and certainly sturdy and a good cooking pot.

    I love cast iron and this pan didn't disappoint tonight. You can use just the flat pan or you can put the grate in the pan or on top of your food such as hamburgers. I love the pour spout on the side. It's oven safe too. This pan distributed the heat evenly and with the spout, it made pouring the grease off easily. I feel this is a good price for this pan. I would buy again.

    This pan is very handy for apartment living where you aren’t allowed to have a grill. Goes from stove top to oven.

    Read reviews to pick up the tip to cover the bottom with water and boil it for a few minutes. This will help with cleaning since you aren’t suppose to use detergent. The pan comes pre seasoned

  • Heavy Duty Pan

    I lifted the pan out of the box and it is heavy. This is a true cast iron pan, can be used on the stove, grill or in the oven. I will use it for bacon, to season it and for any meat which may need very high heat.

    This cast iron pan has really elevated my grilling game! It feels so substantial and solid, and is really simple to use to get a great sear with those beautiful grill marks. Then simply place into a preheated oven for an additional few minutes, and the result is a delicious, restaurant worthy dinner. Using this pan will result in perfectly cooked and delicious tasting steaks every time!

    The Cast Iron Grate and Cast iron pan is absolute nightmare .It took me 1 hr to clean the Grate which is ridiculous which is BS. Plus it never came with direction and to use or clean it . I would never recommend for any one to too use the product period. How it got 5 stars reviews baffles me .

    I got this cast iron pan for my family! It’s my 1st time using this method kind of cooking meat. The cooking was so easy and fast and the results are amazing see the photos! Highly recommend for beginners and professional chef.
