Mixed Reviews for a Budget Gaming Laptop

The good is that it’s a well built, ssd and memory upgradable, 1080p tiny beast.
The bad is the jacked way you have to open it and the awful usb IO(2 usb 3, 1 usb c). I spent an extra $100 on a Samsung 2tb nvme and 2 x 8 gb’sof crucial ddr5 4800 memory. Oh yeah, $20 for a laptop cooler. So, all together this will cost me $750. Not to bad. Is it worth it? So far so good. It accepted the nvme and memory. It’s a snappy little beast. I’m sure neither the rtx 3050 nor the Radeon graphics will max out the 120hz Freesync screen but 60fps or under at max settings is not out of the question. You can also use DLSS to help smooth out some more frames. Now, if we can just get dual Chanel ram out of these guys, wouldn’t that be something?!

Pro: cheap for this spec laptop. And can run minimum quality for any highend games

Con: annoying ads and the anti virus program. Lagging to surf or playing videos.

 I love this laptop I can play game pretty well on it some you will have to lower graphics but not to bad I been able to play on medium and some high settings

My son saved up to buy this computer and was so excited to get this. It’s been just over one month since delivered, 4 days pass the point which we could return and it stopped working. The screen started flashing and is completely black now. I have tried getting help from Amazon and cannot reach a human being.

Works great for Minecraft and Roblox - I was told this is a great price for a starter gaming laptop. I did buy the additional ram but haven’t even needed to install it yet.

So, the machine actually works 'okay' for the main use case I bought it for which is encoding my stream and sending it to twitch. The only required hardware was the NVENC chip as part of the NVIDIA card in the laptop.

That said? The rest of it's horrible. Decoding video on youtube, it constantly crashes. When on Discord, it'll constantly get distorted audio and the only fix is either switching audio devices (does not always work) or rebooting. It's just a bad experience and even though the laptop was only $600 it's still a case where I regret purchasing.

I purchased two machines, one for myself and one for my partner. Both machines exhibit this behavior inside of Windows. My partner uses Linux more frequently and their machine gives them less issues, but, also if you plan to run Linux be aware that the network card in the machine does not work so you will be forced to get a wireless dongle to go with it.

This is a great laptop however I would recommend getting the 8 gb ram stick to bump it up to 16gb ram and also get more storage 256 is not enough to really download all you need.

A la notebook le agregué un ssd de 1TB y 8GB de RAM. Va muy rápida y corro todos los juegos en gráficos altos con 90 FPS Permanentemente. Lo único que veo como negativo es que el producto llegó 3 días antes de lo pactado y en ese momento no había quien lo reciba, quedando durante ese tiempo en la recepción del hotel. El resto impecable.

I’ve had this laptop for about a week now. It can absolutely run some more demanding game’s easily. I played Raft and Rocket League with absolutely no issues. My only concern is the battery life, a full charge seems to only last a couple hours. If you’re a college student like me, you probably want to carry the charger with you. However, for the price, I can’t knock it.

This laptop runs very well at a reasonable price. A must have for casual gamers

My son loves this laptop that I bought for him. He says it's excellent for both his gaming and school work. He's very pleased with it and he is a gamer. I'd definitely buy again.

La laptop llegó sana y salva junto con la especificaciones ya dicha en la página e tenido una semana de uso y a rendido bien, quisiera probar como están en los juego, pero debo comprar otra memoria ram para poder probarlo, por lo general todo salio bien.

I'm sure there may be better ones out there, but if you catch this as a lightening deal, it's worth it.
Plays Diablo 4 just fine.

The first day I worked on setting up the computer and shut it off to install updates. I was able to use it one more time after that but when I booted it again on the second day, the screen would not turn on and all troubleshooting I could find failed. The computer was set on a desk, so its not like it was dropped or was broken. Pretty disappointing after spending the time to set it up.

Perfect runs games like Bo3 and GMOD. Graphics look great and runs super smoothly. The only downside that keeps this from being a 5 star laptop is its lack of storage, you can only keep one decently large game installed at a given time. Except for the storage, fantastic laptop.

Nice budget laptop but it never showed up. I contacted the seller multiple times and they never replied had to go through amazon to get a refund. package never even got sent out to ups for delivery but the sellers update said it did. safe yourself the hassle and buy somewhere else!

I the the best computer on Amazon BUT you will need it pluged up at all times it’s works really well for Minecraft Java edition and Bedrock edition so if you are looking for a gaming computer this is your choice!!!

Was using this laptop for only a few months (December- May) and this thing completely gives up. My wife also had a Lenovo that stopped working after only about 2 years, we brought both of them to several repair shops to get them fixed, after MULTIPLE tries, I had to bring it into best buy to the geek squad for them to not even be able to fix it. It was an issue with the hard drive so they had to send it out of state to repair it. Thankfully it was under warranty so I didn't have to pay for it, but my laptop is now telling me it needs a bit recovery key that was supposed to be set up, but no information was ever given to me to do that, as if it's just common knowledge. I now cannot access my laptop unless it's completely wiped. It's been almost 3 months, which put an undue burden on my ability to do schoolwork. Complete piece of junk despite all the positive reviews. Spend a little more money on something that won't break down after only a few months.

When I first got this laptop, it had everything I needed. Able to run games medium to high graphics and perfect as a university student along with multitasking. Normally I would clean the inside and outside of the laptop once every month since it doesn't get dusty that often and the laptop runs cool even after 7 months, with the highest temps being 73'C for both the CPU and GPU.

Now, the problem is the black screen of death. I checked for everything; made sure the ram was seated properly, disconnected the CMOS battery to reset the BIOS settings (even though I didn't update it), checked to see if it was my external monitor or HDMI cable (since I use an external monitor), I always shutdown my computer before either going to sleep or going on the road, tried running it without the battery and NOTHING. The laptop is still working fine, the fans spin and the keyboard still lights up but only the screen died. I followed every possible known solution on the net that fixes it but unfortunately none have worked for me and it seems that my entire screen has just stopped working abruptly (it was working perfectly fine the other night with no flickers).

I would've rate 5 stars but to see this happen to a very respectable and reliable laptop and it hasn't even been a year or two since I got it, is sadly disappointing.

Perfect for my HS Junior: gaming, game design and as his homeschool laptop. I bought an extra stick of RAM and a portable Terabyte SSD, and he’s needed neither so far. I’ve played some of his games and the video card is all it’s hyped to be, and more. I’ve also loaded my playlist whilst straightening up, and the sound is truly phenomenal, especially considering this price point. I’ve built our home computers in the past, so I’ve shied away from laptops/pads since you can’t easily swap out video or sound cards, but this little guy should last him until it’s time for Uni, and then I can enjoy it as my next ‘new to me’ home computer for quite a while. It’s über loaded for its price point, and I’d recommend it for any tween or teen, and even as a home system for everyday adult use and as a kids gaming/surfing/listening to tunes system.
