  • Surprisingly good

    When I first saw it in the website, I thought it would be weird to stay in a place which has rooms spread in different buildings. I was wrong. The place is great and very charming. The rooms are amazing in every small detail. The staff is extremely helpful and polite and make you feel at home. I'll definitely go back.

  • Unique and Amazing Experience

    Every detail is just perfect, from the moment you understand the concept, you open the door of the building and later of the room you are surprised with great decoration, light, connections, spaces and just details everywhere. Bert was an outstanding host and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. If you are passing by you must make a stop and spend one night here... Breakfast was also worth ever penny!

  • Lovely boutique hotel

    Lovely boutique hotel in the center of the small and beautiful old town of Gorinchem. The hotel is made up of several buildings in the same street, all having a few rooms. I was in building 4. The high-quality breakfast is served in another building close by. Parking on 10 minutes walking distance for only 3 euro per day. My room was decorated lovely, modern style with a touch of China. Very spacious, kitchen facilities and a real espresso machine (no nespresso). Internet worked well. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. I really regret I was there only for one night.

    Not the greatest customer service , had to wait >15 minutes at the reception, the lady who came to give us the keys seemed like we r the one who have to show her around, which doesn’t leave a good first impression. Rooms could be cleaner to. Would look for something else for this price range. Good location, tho.

  • Home Away

    On a regular basis I'm staying in this unique hotel. The owner Bert has made every room unique and special. The hotel is in the center of Gorinchem, just minutes away from all the restaurants. Breakfast is superb, especially the yoghurt with honey is recommended. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. This is a true home away from home.

  • Fabulous!

    Stayed here for one night only in business. The apartments are beautifully done. I only wish we had stayed longer. Bert is brilliant and his attention to detail is fantastic. Breakfast was lovely. Very relaxed. Fabulous yoghurt made by Berts sister. Fantastic shower and fab coffee machine. Will definitely stay again when I’m in the area.

  • Very nice apartments

    The apartments are very nice, have a very cosy atmosphere. They are located in several houses in the city centre, conveniently located close to bars and restaurants. The kitchen is well equipped and have microwave oven as well as a conventional oven, coffee maker with a selection of coffee and tea, a fridge and a choice of pots and pans. This place certainly has what it takes if you want to prepare your own food. If not, they serve breakfast in their small but very cosy breakfast lounge and of course for all other meals you will find everything in the city.

    Very comfortable, clean and modern room, in a central location, caring and friendly owners at a great price. It almost sounds too good to be true, but it is very real! I don't think I could have picked a better place to stay.

    Beautiful accommodation, fantastic service, a perfect stay. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Gorinchem, the hotel is centrally located and easy too access. Fresh bread and eggs delivered to the rooms first thing in the morning and a complementary bottle of champagne along with other drinks. The most personal service i have experienced in a long time, Burt the owner goes above and beyond to make the stay memorable. I would recommend Goud En Zilver to anyone.

  • Simply perfect

    No words to explain how good it is. It looked nice when we booked, much more since they helped us so much from the beginning to plan our stay in Netherlands, but when we got there we just discovered what it is to make things with heart; great service always ready to help you with whatever you need, in suites that are delicious, really comfortable and beautiful. Moreover they are situated in the very heart of Gorinchem, a beautiful village in the heart of Netherlands, perfect to everywhere. We spent our complete holidays there and it was simply perfect, looking forward to have the possibility to go again!!
