One of the best books on coaching I have read. I constantly reread it.
Well written, accessible, and thoroughly helpful.
An experienced coach, the author gets to the heart of what coaching is really all about.
Great stuff whether you're interested in learning coaching skills, or have been coaching for years! I learned a lo and was challenged on some of my assumptions
As a coaching starting out, this book was among the best I could ever read, a must read. ThankYou Marcia!
The most valuable part of this book is the title. It was a central tenant of my coaching program and the comparisons she makes in talking about coaching schools is NOT my experience. She talks too much and gets hung up on too many details, history, what not to do and blah blah blah. Glad I got this from my local library and didn't buy it!
This book is a great resource for anyone, whether they are a coach or not. It dives into the science-based concept of reflective inquiry and shares new perspectives on how to attain your goals better and faster. Highly recommended!
A great read and guide to understand the value, benefits and approach to optimize the coaching process. Insight-based learning and reflective inquiry shared by the author can help you connect better and make coaching less threatening with positive outcomes.
Iâm a new ADHD coach and loved how itâs broken down into simple concepts. Very good for anyone in the coaching industry.
The best book I have found on coaching. Unlike most books on coaching that list tools and techniques, this book talks teaches how to connect and communicate with your clients or staff in a way that encourages and supports their growth and development. I highly recommend it.

This review summary discusses the quality and packaging issues of a set of paper clips. Customers complain about the flimsy plastic container, which often arrives broken, causing the paper clips to spill out. Some reviewers also mention the poor organization of the clips and the need to untangle them. However, the variety of colors and sizes, as well as the good quantity and quality of the paper clips, are appreciated.
