It has made a significant impact on my adolescent’s personal development journey. This thoughtfully designed journal offers a wealth of engaging prompts, reflective exercises, and inspiring quotes, all tailored to empower teenagers with a growth mindset.
I think the book is a good tool to get your teenager to think and share feelings about life.
I'm liking the content and graphic design for my kid, but my kid is in a mental health facility where all books need to be soft cover, so I will need to return this. Also a softcover version would be lighter weight. So I actually want a version to be less sturdy.
I got this journal for my 13 year old nephew who is a slow learner academically with not a lot of self confidence. He absolutely loved reading and writing in this journal every day. He actually looks forward to writing in the journal and is able to tap into his imagination without anyone to influence him. It seems like it is helping him to think more positively about himself. I plan on getting him the Big Life Journal-Daily Journal for Kids so that he could record his thoughts daily at home.
I can't give an honest review because I am not the user of this product but this is my experience. I gifted this to my 11yo who went to behaviour therapy for 17 months. She graduated therapy but now has anxiety and self esteem issues. So I wanted to see if this book would help her. When she removed the gift wrap she was disappointed, read the first couple of pages and looked at me like "really?" She immediately said it was boring and didn't like it. Not even 10 pages in. I am sure the book is good, she's just too negative to even try it.
Gifted journals to 4 of my older grandchildren.
Trying to offer opportunities for teen to reflect on this unsettled time in personal and world events.
Excelente regalo para toda la vida
I’m very excited about this book and I really hope my daughter will be too! I only gave it 3 stars because it was damaged when I got it. I didn’t attempt to return or replace it, but I’m giving this to her for a gift, so I was a little disappointed it wasn’t in better condition. I still like the prompts and the way it will hopefully get my daughter to think about her life/future possibilities!
Our 15yo foster brother admits he NEVER does stuff like this. He said he's s never journaled, mostly because he didn't know how, but we gifted him this book and he hasn't set it down. He got to page 40 after a few hours.
This book is so interactive and definitely helps with building self-identity, creativity, and learning more about yourself. The interest maps, reflection pages, strength building, and other guided journal activities are a huge hit.
10/10 recommend for the teen in your life, especially to help them find themselves and what they like, don't like, are good at, and what makes them unique.
This book is loaded with pearls of wisdom for anyone but especially for teen and tween girls. We read it together so we can talk about the topics.
if you are looking for activity book for youth....this is NOT the one ! It is more for individual use, not a lot of activities can use .
What a great way to journal. Ive always had difficulty journaling. This is a great support in getting started.
I purchased this for my granddaughter who requested a journal for her birthday! She's 14.
She opened it, flipped through it, sat back and read a bit of it...conclusion was "very cool" this will work! I love it..."
Enough said...I'm one happy grandmother!
I expected a more substantial book. It was a gift though, so I gave it. I didn’t have time to shop for something else. The content was good at least.
I am upset about the fact that it came with some damages on the side of the book and I wish I can return it and get a replacement but it wouldn’t be here in a timely manner. The format is amazing and I know this will be helpful. Seems sturdy and great quality.
I’m a fan of positive thinking. My daughter thinks negatively. I’m hoping this will improve her thoughts and show her the sunnier side of life.
I think the intent is for the child to read and fill in the book by themselves, however, we are reading/completing this book WITH our 11 & 12 year old boys. We bought 1 for each of them. We are about 1/3 of the way into it and reading this book together has started some very good conversations and provided insight for us about how our children view themselves. Highly recommend! The kids aren't always excited to start, but once we start reading, they are very engaged and have a lot to say about the topics.
I purchased this book for my 14 yr old bc it looked interactive, creative and fun to fill out. A new way to journal with prompts. I walked into her room where I found her in tears. Upon questioning, she blubbered “I don’t know where I see myself in 10 years.” I thought this stocking stuffer would be fun and helpful and it caused her more stress and anxiety. She was clearly overwhelmed. If you have an anxious child or one who worries, this may not be the journal for them. I wiped her tears, took the book and we never looked at it again. It looked like something I would have liked as a teen. 3 stars intended to convey as “nuetral” bc I would have liked it but my daughter did not.
This book was a good start for my grandsons. Lots of good material and easy to do bit by bit. Provoked good conversations about big goals being met with little steps, adjusting your plan and life in general.
I am loving the Big Life Teen Journal for use with my middle school social skills class.
I have three girls that I’ve tried to raise to be confident ,compassionate, and strong people. We all want our kids to great things and be happy inside, right. So each of these girls is very different. Different likes, dislikes, attitudes, and of course personalities. My youngest is the one I was most hoping to help as she seems the most insecure and most anxious of them. She is also the least likely to read or write without a teacher assigning it to her. My oldest reads with wild abandon, middle one just likes projects and is a people pleaser so she started right away on her book. My youngest, “well, where is it?”🤦🏻♀️ I don’t want to force them to do this even though I think it would benefit them. I didn’t think about how it would actually get done when I bought them. Maybe I’ll do one for me. So, in conclusion, I think this is a great concept and could be a good conversation starter with your kids and might enlighten them a bit. But they have to put in the work.
There was already writing in what was advertised as a NEW journal.
I love it!
I recommend this book to my girl clients in therapy. They are able to express themselves in a fun way
Sent this to my 13 year old Granddaughter and she lives it
Love this journal! My son is 9 and some stuff is a little “big picture “ but I already plan to buy these yearly, so we can follow the growth. Great messages!
Great positive material for our son.
This book is great to do with your child if they are having problems. It promotes interaction and talking points to understand their thoughts. I highly recommend
Costly - but mental health is worth the investment

This ADHD planner is overwhelming for some users but helpful for others. It has a hardcover binding and peculiar entries to keep users interested. Some suggestions for improvement include removing the ADHD label from the cover and providing an undated format. The planner is praised for its ability to help users establish routines and stay organized. However, the three-month duration and lack of instructions can be challenging for some users. Overall, it is a valuable tool for individuals with ADHD.

A mixed bag of reviews for a variety of baby slings, from rave 5-star to strongly negative. Complaints range from discomfort, difficulty adjusting and the sling not working well for the baby. Some parents love the convenience and comfort of the product, while others warn about its safety. Many acknowledge that a learning curve is involved with baby slings, and recommend persevering until you find the sling that works best for you.
