  • Great pants

    Love the pants. Comfortable, tough and appreciate all the pockets. This is the third pair I have purchased. As others have noticed the Navy is quite dark. I also have the Black pants and you can tell the difference side-by-side but it is close.

  • I have worn these pants a decade.... literally... the same pants!

    When I bought my first pair of these 5.11 Tactical Men's Taclite Pro pants I struggled to pay the higher price but I finally broke down and did it. These are the only pants I have worn ever since! I save two pair for "dress" and the rest I wear for anything and everything else. They hold up to everything I have put them through and they have seen some serious activity. The only tear I have had was done by a slip of my utility knife. The only pairs I have ever gotten rid of are the ones that ended up too big for me when I lost some weight so they went to Good Will and I will bet they are still going strong. This company makes other styles of pants and I was tempted to try one of those with my latest "downsize" but a couple of reviews mentioned seams tearing etc. I order this same 5.11 Tactical Men's Taclite Pro pant and I am happy to report nothing has been down graded with these. A lot of my work has been up on ladders a long way from my tools. When it is only minor adjusting that the equipment needs these save the need for a tool belt. Two huge back pockets and 6... yes... 6 front pockets. There is also a slot for some thin built in knee pads but with my size if I need knee pads I need serious knee pads. I used to buy the big name less expensive cargo pants which lasted about 6 months if I was lucky. I have never had a pair of these wear out. I know for a fact they outlast at least 10 pair of the "name brand" bargains. To put it another way... AWESOME PANTS! My only complaint is that they areN'T sold directly by Amazon so it takes a while for them to arrive. (Hint Hint Amazon) You can by them direct from the company and a couple pair will get you free shipping from them. Did I mention... AWESOM PANTS!

  • Waist is too tight

    I like these pants but the waist is much tighter than I expected. I wear a 32 waist and most of my 32 waist pants fit comfortably, but these require stretching the elastic waistband to snap the button. There's no way I could carry IWB with them.

    I’m down to size 30-32 waist going by Arizona and Wrangler jeans. So bought these in 32, had to return they so tight. Exchange for 34 they are wearable but still can’t do IWB carry. I’m 6’ 190Lbs. So seems I should have gotten 36 for wearing 30.

  • The best pants for travel, ever

    These are now my absolute favorite pants for traveling. Everything about them is excellent. Tone of pockets for all the stuff one needs while traveling. Some of the pockets are large and deep enough to accommodate significant items, like my binoculars. The fabric is truly water repellant. I had a glass of wine dropped in my lap on my flight home and it all just beaded right off. The pants looked like nothing had happened. Greasy or oily foods will leave a stain, but the pants come clean easily. I now own three pairs.

  • 5.11 - The only brand of pants I'll ever buy again

    I clean carpets for a big professional business, and I've tried a few pants that were fine, but just didn't make me love them. 5.11 work pants are the brand I was missing all this time. I bought them three days ago from writing this review, and the moment I tried them on to make sure they fit, I knew I loved them.

    The pockets on the back are huge, big enough to fit entire spray bottles in without squeezing them down, the hanging strap on the right side is tight and made excellently, and the extra pen pocket and phone pocket it PERFECT. My work phone fits neatly into the phone pocket, and having a dedicated pen pocket in my pants made me unreasonably happy.

    I'm going to wear 5.11's on and off the job now, they're my new every day pants, and the only brand I know I'll be comfortable in all day long at work. The price is worth it! The quality is there, I promise!

    The first order came and didn’t have no tags on it and was missing a zipper. Amazon was notified and they sent me a new pair what was in great condition and made it easy to send the defective pair back for free.

    This is my second pair. I’ve literally worn the first pair every single day since February of 2020. I don't know, weird yes. I only wear these and change tee’s daily. I am newly retired due to Covid and decided t simplify my life. My wife makes me wash them at least twice a month.
    So, I love them. I bought the second pair as a spare. Plus I can wear them on laundry day.

  • Disappointing in a way

    Color is not even close to the photo. I ordered Tundra and what arrived looks like Ranger Green from a different model. My son still likes the product so he will keep them.
