I already slept in 3 hotels in Yanghzou city but this one is from far the best one I ever did there.Everything is very good : service, people working there, rooms... I have nothing negative to say.I recommand it to everybody !
Very nice hotel, staff was excellent, very friendly and very helpful. Rooms are large and very tidy, Food was very nice. 14-30 minutes to the city center depending on traffic. Very close to some good museums.
Third time here and first time in shangri la - this is a great hotel with excellent facilities. I had the buffet on 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast is also very good - lots of choice and friendly staff wiling to assist at all times. Staff at the front desk are great. Many of them dual language speakers (English) so made it easy for me to communicate. I used the pool which was very clean and relatively quiet. They have lockers with towels and toiletries on hand - hairdryer and shampoo in changing rooms. Overall - I had an excellent experience and would return !
Average hotel. Rooms are a bit worn out, but still somehow acceptable. The Lobby bar is lacking most of the stuff displayed on the menu: No gin tonic, only limited beers, most of the red wines not available. A simple platter of sushi took over 30 min. Breakfast is average to ok. However, room rates are cheap. You get what you pay. Sorry to say that this property does not live up to the usually high standards of Shangri-La.
Had business in Yangzhou so stayed at Shangri-La. great location for me to get to factories. The hotel is located in new development area and is fantastic. Great staff. Nicky Yao did great welcome on arrival and checked me in. Helped with Wifi as well thanks Nicky. Restaurant is tremendous but second floor restaurant is probably best for selection. I ate in longe bar and food great and seating comfortable. Used gym which is best equipped Iâve ever seen. Breakfast great thanks to Mark Ma and Erin Wu. Great selection of food. Coffee good.Room was very nice looking over city and lake. Bed very comfortable and bathroom huge. Plenty drinking water as well. And staff all good with English. Check was looked after by Edward Zhang who was great.If you need hotel in west Yangzhou then Shangri-La is great place to stay.
Stayed for 3 nights1. Rooms - good view and a lot of light, facilities are good but just a very weird smell like the carpet just had been washed before...2. Internet access - on todays world, it shouldnât need 3 different staff and about 20 min to access to something so basic like wifi... once done it was working well though3. Chinese restaurant - was ok4. Went to the gym at 10 pm, first no greetings from the staff who was too busy counting papers. The cleaner gave me a pen because the receptionist just ignored me... then while i was still exercising, the staff came and shut the tv even though i was looking at it (it was 10.50 pm, gym closing at 11 pm)Not exactly the service i expected from Shangri-la
