  • I had an excellent stay at this hotel and would happily stay here again any time. The staff was welcoming and friendly, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and larger than many NYC hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. The smell of this hotel is lovely, and the gym was small but had a nice variety of equipment including 4 Peloton bikes. They also do a turndown service each night, which was a really nice surprise!

  • Overall a decent experience and would consider staying here again mainly because of the location and cleanliness but not so much because of the noise and unnecessary charges.Highlights ⭐️• Location: Just perfect, reasonable walks from anywhere you might need to be either for business or leisure• Front desk: Very kind, welcoming and super fast/efficient• Decor and cleanliness: Everything was clean and well maintained, nice lobby areaThings to improve 📝• Noise: There isn’t proper noise insulation between rooms and to the outdoors. You can hear street noise and banging of doors in the corridors so I had to rely on white noise to sleep• Unnecessary charges for hotel of this level: While I understand the destination fee, charging for example for the delivery of packages from Amazon etc is weird - never had this at a hotel before• Bonvoy benefits: They do very well in the late checkouts but other than that don’t expect room upgrades (was given the same room category I booked despite other ample rooms available for booking same dates) also breakfast is not part of Bonvoy benefits but instead you get bonus points• No welcome amenities: Would be nice to see floral arrangements or complementary water

  • Probably was nice 10 years ago.. very tired looking hotel. Our bathroom was FREEZING, had no towel radiator or underfloor heating and the window seemed to not shut properly. We told reception about the issue several times but nothing was done - we were there for a week! Also no free tea and coffee in the rooms (unless you wanted to pay $50 for a nespresso machine which is barbaric when you’ve paid over $1k per night for the room) and the coffee was only available in the lobby until 9am, $10 after that per coffee!Hotel bar was not big enough with large gaggles of work colleagues making it very busy.Also when you pay for a “loft” suite you think that it’s going to be high up as usually lofts are at the top of the building… nope. Floor 7, seems the cheaper rooms are higher up. Odd!Breakfast is in the dining room which is sooo dark with all the blinds drawn. Ok for dinner but not for breakfast. So we only ate there once.Spa isn’t a spa, it’s a couple of treatment rooms.Good things were the le labo soaps, good view from the windows in our room and amazing location.Would I recommend or stay again? Probably not unless the prices were significantly lower
