Dogwise Academy Reviews Analysis

So I guess when Dogwise doesn't agree with your review they just flag it, so no negative reviews show up.it. Ha. This was by far the worst experience ever!! I sent a 30+ pd bag of dog food with my 2 girl, who have very healthy appetites, the bag came home after 2 wks with barely a quarter of the bag gone. So for 2 wks my girls went hungry. We were told the trainer would only have our girls there. Only to find out the trainer has 2 grown dogs, and was training another one. We actually recieved a video where in it you could see the trainers 2 big dogs ganging up and pinning our baby up against a wall. We ask for 3 simple task to be taught, not only did this not happen but they forgot the commands they already knew. The owner offered 2 extra 1 hr classes. Come on what are you gonnaaccomplish in 4 hrs you couldn't accomplish in 2 wks. My concerns were met with double talk and the inability to fully process the gravity of the situation in a pet parents eyes.

Dogwise and Doribeth did the best job with our puppy. We really appreciated all of the communication and professionalism. Our pup had the best time with Doribeth while she socialized and learned. She came back home trained and well behaved.

My havapoo Chloe was training with Luis. He was great at keeping me updated on her training. He would send pictures and videos. After a 4 week training she came back a changed dog. She has gained confidence and is a work in progress. Her main issue is separation anxiety, she just got back so I have been following Luis’s guidance. I’m really happy with the training. Luis is very patient and willing to answer any questions you may have . I highly recommend Luis Gutierrez.

Dog wise Academy flagged my initial review for use of “harmful or illegal content” which is ironic because that is essentially what they’ve done.I will not be silenced, and will try to save any dogs, and dog owners I can from this pain. Please see the review for yourself.I wish I read these reviews before trusting their google ones.I had a terrible experience with Dogwise, which was surprising since I chose them based on their reviews. I am writing this review to help prevent another dog and owner from experiencing what we did.The only thing I would recommend is to read their terms and conditions (T&Cs) carefully. They state that you automatically agree to their terms by simply being on their website. Their T&Cs also state that they are not responsible for any outcome of their service, even if your dog comes back untrained, mistreated, or dies under their care. They do not offer any compensation for any of the above.Unfortunately, my 9-month-old puppy fell victim to some of these issues. My dog was under the care of Michael from Dogwise for 5 weeks. She returned untrained, underweight, sick with worms, matted, and smelling of a foul odor and cigarettes. In addition, all of our belongings that we provided came back dirty, or not at all.My dog already knew basic commands when she went to Dogwise, but everything I requested for them to work on was disregarded. They even sent me follow-up training materials with links that didn't work.When I brought all of these issues up to Dogwise, they disregarded my proof and tried to gaslight me into believing that my claims were not valid. The owner, Sean, is rude, unprofessional, and handled this case in a terrible manner.The service cost $5,000, but after all the vet bills, replacing the items that were never returned or damaged, and professionally removing matting, I ended up spending over $6,000.I tried to get my lawyer to settle a mediation since I was being ignored, but instead of working with us, Dogwise came back unprofessional and even threatened to charge us for reading any other emails we send them. The CEO Sean also texted me personally harassing me and threatening me after leaving a review.Please save yourself from this experience and go with a more credible company that treats you and your dog with respect and care.

I’m not sure my last review posted properly, so I’m writing it again to acknowledge and exceptional service and expertise provided by Dog wise Academy and particularly our trainer Njoud. She has exceptional expertise about dogs from every angle, including the psychology and treated our dog with such love and tenderness. Highly recommend the company and her in particular.

My dog was very calm when he came home. Luis was great with him. He now sleeps and rest in his crate.My dog will bite and has resource guarding issues. Luis also taught us how to interact better with our dog to avoid further problems. Looking forward to a follow up session.
