  • Don't Join Melia Circle

    We have been going to the Playa Del Carmen resort for over 10 years. At least once a year. We even joined their Melia Circle. While our experience with the actual resort has always been great their management needs a lot of help. On our last trip we booked 4 rooms for 7 days. We picked specific rooms for each couple. When we arrived they didn't have any of the right rooms for us and then said that we would need to pay more for the rooms we were in. I said this was incorrect and asked them to sort this out before we left. I agreed to pay the difference since we all wanted to settle in. I didnt want to start our family vacation on a bad note. During the week I asked management several times if they had answers for me, they had nothing. At the end of the trip I was assured that they would figure this out and that we could call them directly even though we were leaving. This turned out to not be true. When we called we could never get anyone to call us back. So we figured we would email them instead. It has been over a month since the trip and not one person has contacted us back by phone or email. I am not the type of person to whine about money if I know that I got what I paid for. They promised a refund and that I didnt need to worry. That is not what is happening. I will not book another trip with Melia ever again until this is settled. I have already paid for the Melia Circle and I don't even care about the money I will lose. It is the principle at this point. Since I know TrustPilots platform and the way it works, I ask anyone that monitors this to ask for the verification so I can give you my information.   • They published my name after a low review

    It was the wrost hotel experience of my life. I published a review about their hotel in malta... And the director published my full name in his answer and lied about the behaviour while i have many email from him trying to let me forget....and trying lately to appologize.The same person refused me in the hotel because their paiment terminal was not working.... He was not aware about how to resolve issue that was his or hotel fault not customer fault.This company should be shame to let irresponsable people manage a full hotel and treat foreign turists like this. They know we come from other country then it was the best eay to ruin the trip... I had to resolve the issue myself calling The Headquarter of melia in spain and to try myself to resolve...which was their job in the reception but they know that you just come from airport and they wanted to ruin my life and my holiday.I dont recommend melia in malta. For the diffamation on internet . they dont care...if their director publish sensitive informations about a customer only because he put a low score in his review.. .The direction of melia covered this directo and let him hurt customers many times whatever i leaved the hotel months ago... he dont forget me.To my email they answered me that the director removed my full name and for them its resolved.... what a joke !!!

    We've been attempting to get in touch, but unfortunately, their team has been unresponsive. This is frustrating, especially considering the timely deductions from our account. Due to the lack of response, we haven't booked our plane tickets, and the prices have significantly risen (over $200 per ticket). This has been an incredibly poor customer service experience. When we've called, their team has redirected us to other departments, creating unnecessary delays. This has been a significant waste of our time and money. I will caution my family and friends against using their services. This has been a truly unpleasant experience.

  • Ich war Beruflich 5 Nächte in diesem…

    Ich war Beruflich 5 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Leider wurde ich und mein Kollege mit einem Arroganten Ton von dem Herren empfangen und die Dame mischte sich immer in das Gespräch ein. Wir haben dann mit dem Manager das Problem behoben und mit dem Herren an der Rezeption uns ausgesprochen. Die Dame aber blieb eiskalt und Grüßte nicht mal mehr zurück wenn ich sie die Ganze Woche immer Gegrüßt habe. Aber mit Spanisch sprachigen Kunden konnte sie Lachen und Grüßen. Ich fühlte mich keinen Tag Wilkommen. Die Zimmer sind gut. Etwas gealtert aber nicht verlebt. Das Frühstück und das Frühstückservice ist sehr gut da ist nichts auszusetzen. Wir haben unser Anliegen an unser Travel Service Center weitergegeben und werden das beobachten.
