  • Attend a lunch wedding reception at the ballroom. It’s a pretty cosy space, with a warm, grand ambience. Food and beverages service was really prompt. Quality average to above average - the Ee Fu noodles is a good call out though. Overall a very decent experience.Furnitures and lightings are rather traditional around the hotel due to its legacy and cultural roots behind. It’s simple to navigate as well; washrooms can be located and accessed easily. Nobu is housed here, but there aren’t many other restaurants within.Carpark is rather decent in terms of lot spaces and size. Orchard MRT is just 5-7 mins walk away so rather accessible too.

  • Convenient location. Close to Orchard Rd main shopping areas and to MRT subway starion (walking <4min). Friendly staff. Early check was super nice. Our only complaint was room cleanliness and breakfast buffet quality which definitely did not reflect 5 star hotel quality. The shower booth had black mildew/mold all over between the tiles and corners. Room was dusty as well. At breakfast, omelette was very undercooked ( juice poured out with first cut) and many of the fried items like tots were old and dry. You can taste the old grease as well. Overall, breakfast buffet was dissappointing. We would have shared room quality issues at checkout when hotel asks “how was your stay? But at checkout, the only thing we were offered was taking care of the bill and making sure we did not leave any of our belongings in the room. Not once the staff asked if everything was all right with the room or the stay.
