Unveil the Truth: MUBI App Customer Feedback Analysis

MUBI: A Highly Recommended Movie App with Unreliable Offline Viewing and Poor UI

MUBI is a highly recommended movie app with a wide-ranging selection of stimulating films. However, the app's offline viewing feature is unreliable and often fails. The user interface for both the app and TV app is terrible, making it difficult to browse the catalog. Mubi has a curated collection of challenging obscure films from around the world, but the download option is nearly useless. The subtitles in foreign language movies are poorly translated. Despite these issues, Mubi offers a unique platform with movies not found elsewhere.

  • Terrible design, lackluster catalog

I've resorted to using a third party website to see what movies are available on mubi because the ui for app and tv app is terrible. So annoying to browse, basically impossible to get a good look at the catalog. Not that there's much to be desired anyway.

  • The best, absolutely

There will never be a better streaming service than MUBI because they’ve fully figured it out and present the most enormous, well curated and well conceived system for serious cinephiles. Nothing else is even close!

  • the way down

Mubi seems to now work for Apple: they force users to update to new iOS before Apple debugs it. Mubi used to be an enlightened distributor of independent cinema, but as soon as they discovered that they could be profitable, they became like everyone else. And like everyone else, they will keep getting worse until they stop being profitable.

  • Film buddy

MUBI is that friend who says "Hey, you gotta see this film I just watched, it was amazing". And then goes a step further and hands it to you. Everyday. Exquisitely curated selections delivered to you via a rock solid, easily navigated app. What more could you want? Popcorn?

  • Poor Service, Poorer App

So-so selection of films, though they're getting better.

App and TV streaming is clunky, however. If you try to fast forward, it freezes and you have to start from the beginning of the film.

Separately, social media account never responds to questions, whether to help with the service or to answer questions like, "Hey, what film is that video from?" Nada.

This is why I can't really commit to this platform.
