    I played college sports, read magazines, talked with more experienced lifters; all of these things taught me more than this book, over twenty years ago. This book is only of value to a novice. YouTube has material by people with much more technical and specific coaching points to assist you wherever you may need it.

    Needed help taking my health to the next level. I’m 45 and been lifting for two years and hadn’t been able to loose any more weight after losing 20lbs. Got this book, really only read parts of it. Started the works right away and macos are a process I am still trying to figure out. Being a family of five makes the planning a little more complicated. My weight is down a little but my muscle tone is really improving. My wife even started doing TLS and is noticing the difference as well. Get the book (probably read more than I did), take your total health seriously and enjoy life with your kids to the fullest. By the way I started doing Spartan Races with my 15 yr old son a year ago. The one I did after starting this program was my best time and I completed all the obstacles. Makes an old man feel good and his son proud.
