I love to cook in cast iron because it heats up quick, does a great job of browning and has good heat distribution.
I WAS using a tiny, flimsy chainmail rag, but this is so much better! The chain on this is much bigger. I expect the handle to be plastic, but it’s a hard durable rubber

I ordered this to use on my cast iron skillets. I like that the scrubber has a handle and that it comes with a scraper. The scrubber handle is made of a rubber material and the scrapper is a hard plastic. The scrapper is a little more rigid than similar scrapers that I have used but still works good. I think it will get more flexible with time. Both utensils should last quite a while. I also like that they are dishwasher safe. This duo is reasonably prices and I recommend.

I thought this was the easiest way so far to scrape off cast iron skillets when they get too dirty. I have the same chainmail scrubber, but in the shape of a sponge from Lodge, and it's not quite as easy to use. This also molds well to the curved edges of skillets since it's rounded on the edges and not square. The added scraper is a nice bonus as well.

This cast iron chainmail scrubber is great for scrubbing cast-iron pans. The handle provides a comfortable grip, making it easier to use and providing more leverage for scrubbing. The round knob is easy to hold and comfortable in the hand. A nice alternative to using bare fingers down in the gunk on a piece of chainmail. The materials seem to be of good quality, so should be durable. The round design works well in round cast iron pots and pans.
The scraper is a handy tool which has many uses in the kitchen. I have a similar one and an extra one is appreciated.

I use my cast iron skillet at least once every day, which means I'm cleaning it all the time. Sometimes getting cooked on food is really hard to clean and requires a ton of scrubbing. I just tried out this scrubber after making a meal and it easily got rid of some of the gunk that would have required some elbow grease with a scouring pad in the past.

The handle is easy to hold and is tall enough that you're not banging your fingers on the side of your skillet when swirling it around. Time will tell how durable it is, but it seems well made.
