This is the BEST Learn Arabic Book that I have actually come across!
I expected it would start with Arabic letters and Tajweed - assuming the learning could be beginner.
Given that about 80 pages of the book is sura Maryam, and I don't see al-baqrah or al-nisa anywhere, I'm disappointed.
If the book is not going to explain tajweed, then it should at least cover all of the suras. The back of the book also states that every verse is covered.
Furthermore, the index does not make it clear what suras you are learning. As a revert, I don't automatically know what name is what numbered sura - for ease of searching, I'd expect it to be titled in the format (sura number, name)
So about 20% of the pages are blank, the font is enormous, the spacing is huge, and it doesn't teach you the basics (spelling and tajweed) that you need to know. Furthermore, the lack of clarity as to which suras/ayat are included, and which are ignored makes the book difficult to use.
Based on the index, it covers 16/114 chapters, only 4 of these (including fatiah) are earlier than chapter 86, most of them are 20 ayat. Assuming all these suras are covered in full, it covers 409 ayat, which is about 5% of the Qur'an. Also the transliteration is in a weird format, and there is no audio so it is not helpful.
There is no apparent order either. Some books offer tajweed on juz 30 because that's the first one most people learn, others might start with the long suras because they're more difficult, some books start with the most common words to make memorisation easier. This book is completely random and haphazard.
I would not recommend this book. I have apps that do a better job at explaining, and studying MSA (standard Arabic) would be far more helpful than this textbook. Heck even listening to recitation for hours and mimicking it would be more useful.
One of the most interesting and practical books on reading the Quran. This book deserves more than five stars. Unfortunately, one earlier reviewer hurried to find fault, if just studied one page further where Hamza and Alif difference is explained. I donât understand why some people heartlessly undermine an excellent work rather than reading little further.
I highly recommend this book!

If you are a beginner in Arabic, this is the best book to learn to read Arabic and at the same time understand and learn surah from the Holy Quran.
The book is exceptional, I highly recommend it! âď¸ âď¸ âď¸ âď¸ âď¸
Really addresses the complete beginner, and explains those points that are obvious to the native speaker but can hold up the beginner. By letting grammar take a back seat, you get on with being able to start to read the Qur'an. You begin with the first sura, then tackle very short suras such as sura 112, 109, etc. Already you begin to see why no translation captures the quality of the original. To learn correct pronunciation you can easily find material on websites such as quran.com
Perfectly made to learn Quranic Arabic for Beginners and - eventually - to learn English at the same time
